I don't take stock in that poll either. LuNacy has and is always against the odds and that's a good, not make that a great thing. they are against the grain are not a typical sappy soap couple. they do things their way, no matter who likes it. As long as they get it, then we get it.

I hope they have ethan talk to her about Luke and tell her she should go find him and actually write her out for the next two months like she is with Luke somewhere and then they can come back together or at least give an explanation for her absence.

Maybe it will be the old "I am going to europe on business!" That was always at least a lame attempt to explain her summer absence.

It would be nice if it were a scene similar to the one with lulu where she lets him know she still cares about him despite her "non wedding" to luke.

I was just looking at some clips and was seeing that last summer during TG's long vacation, tracy was on a total of 10 times. A few episodes in June, 4 in July, 2 in August and 1 in September. So it is not like we are really missing anything this summer with her not taping.

I saw NLG was having a "free fan club twitter event" tonight. Was laughing at some of her responses. Apparently she is taping august 4th and 6th, so she is not TOTALLY off all summer til mid-september but mostly.

I saw someone ask her who her best girlfriends were in daytime and she said Jane and Stafford (meaning Michelle Stafford)

She also tweeted that she is working on a script with TG.

Was reading this article from SOD on Michael Learned coming to GH. They asked her if it was hard work doing a soap and she said it is, but she has known JE for years and she took her under her wing and showed her the ropes at GH."

Also..interesting article by the director of Change of Habit...according to him Jane/Elvis were having a little fling! It is about 3/4 way down in the article. I remember her saying they didn't in that soapnet chat like five years ago. But the description is funny.

Thanks Hooked, that's too funny. Jane does Elvis and Tony does Liz Taylor.... those two know a LOT of people. Even Ma Walton can't be there for a short stint without praising Jane.

Tracy will cover Ethan's hospital bill - that's a given. But I hope they have more to do than just that. According to other spoilers BL has a 'crisis' coming up and Tracy might be involved with that. Vacation time is coming so we shall see. It's almost time for Carly's plan to go kablooie.

EDIT

One of my Ethina buddies tweeted LA about this recently:

This one is for Remos:

do you ever see jaen elliot around set Not lately, she may be...I love her! Her acting is brilliant

lol that was my tweet to lexi she answered! :)

If it is only two scenes, I can't see the tracy/ethan being too in depth!

I would hope she would be involved with BL's crisis, but I unless she was taping just a random day here or there, I doubt it. I heard it will be brenda who will be around brook lynn not tracy til JE returns around when TG does. NLG tweeted she works two days aug 4 and 6 and then not til mid sept. maybe Je works a day in the mix. Who knows. Hope so.

Your tweet? Too funny. It was in with a bunch of others tweeted by the Ethina crowd so I just assumed - guess it's true what they say about "assuming". Good job, Hooked. I just wish her answer had been a bit different, something along the lines of "sees her a lot". Oh well.

Not much from FCW...tyler said he has a pretty woman type story coming up with brook lynn while becky is on maternity leave.

JJ said when TG returns he is hoping for more luke/lucky adventure. TG is supposed to return with a new female character for lucky or something like that.

Jason Thompson said the person he would like to work with more is Jane.

Oh and I heard JE committed to the habitat to humanity build again for December from my scrubs friend.

"Everybody Loves Jane". That should be the name of a mockumentary that Tony and Jane can do about GH behind the scenes. About everyone wanting to work with her, yet her amazingly having no screen time and nothing to do. :)

Don't mind me. I had to go to the doctor today and they had to stab me a kajillion times in three different places to get enough blood. LOL

So I'm a little loopy. Not that I'm not loopy most of the time...just more loopy right now....

I love that everyone wants to work with her. :)

Gee....I wonder if the EWCBO would have the same response if she were back full time. :)

*stirs the pot*

Sugh, I miss LuNacy. I don't even bother with gh any more until they come back.

Remos, you have any confessions....? :)

Edit: Does anyone have clips of lunacy in january and February this year? My clips seem to start in March. Thanks.

Don't know about EWCBO. When she was asked about Jane's significants there was a long pause before she said "and Jane, of course"... I think chicklette is quite aware that she's not needed now that Tracy is Mrs. Luke Spencer (ignoring any recent rewrite foolishness, of course)

Funny, I'm just working on my own stuff. Afraid the muse just isn't talking.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."
