I'd like Tracy and Luke working together, but in the meantime this is 100% better than last year where she kept walking away from him and whining about his health. At least this is the Tracy we know and they are only working against each other in a certain manner. Otherwise they are on the same page.

More spoilers overnight...

Johnny and Maxie do the deed

LuLu turns to Ethan

Holly stirs up trouble

Luke becomes disturbed about the connection between LuLu and Ethan

The claws come out between Holly and Tracy

Alexis shares her concerns about Rebecca and wants to dig deeper, even though Nikolas denies that there is anything suspious about Rebecca

Sam attempts to give Spinelli confidence at his newfound career

Sam opens up about finally feeling independent and good about herself to Alexis and Jason

Spinelli and Winifred work well together.

Maxie is left out and jealous, leaving Johnny questioning Maxie's feelings.

Robin confronts Liz about her bonding time with Patrick and Emma

Liz offers to step out of the way, but Patrick insists that he and Emma need Liz right now

Jason senses something is up with Claudia and Ric

Sonny and Carly soon get similar news that effects their family lives

Michael wakes up

The truth about Michael's shooting comes out

Claudia's prayers are answered, but as usual Ric puts a hitch in the plan

Michael shocks everyone when he disowns Sonny, Carly and Jason

Sam urges Jason not to give up on Michael

Alexis lets Sonny know that Kristina is getting into some serious trouble but Sonny brushes it off

Rebecca's ties to Helena are revealed

Feeling like her family is slipping away, Robin goes to desperate measures to heal herself and it has consequences

Ric's future gets more and more grim when his plot becomes more devious

Rebecca's feelings for Nikolas continue to muddle things for her, Helena is not happy

Alexis gets a shocking romantic offer

Michael finds himself connecting to old ties

Maxie and Johnny become a couple

Spinelli and Sam investigate Ethan

Liz gives a hand with Emma

Sonny is in for two surprises

Crimson is hit by the economy

The Q's try to bring Michael into the fold.

I especially like the claws bit. I think we are in for some serious entertainment with Luke gone and Holly/Tracy getting it on. Ewcbo is no real match - but she does have a large part of Luke's life with hers, so that was a concern. Holly might actually be a real match - but she doesn't have the longevity and understanding with Luke, so it will be very amusing to watch. We'll know the end story is still LuNacy, but in the meantime we are going to get Tracy fighting for her turf.

I'm wondering how Lulu and Ethan are going to play into all of this. Assuming of course that Ethan isn't Luke's (because that would just be a poor call all the way around). Lulu will ally with Tracy, Ethan possibly with Holly.... I'm already liking this.

Now the whole crew is awake. It's Ruah's 11th birthday today (where are the years going???) so we're off to pick up her new-to-her laptop and celebrate the Diva. I have no idea what the plans for the day are, but she has a way of being the center of attention anyway so this should be interesting. The boys are more excited for her then they are when it's their own birthdays.

It is nice to see Tracy's name in spoilers regardless. I have to say I am more looking forward to the Tracy/sam/spinelli scenes if they air, then the tracy/luke stuff these days. I am just not a big fan of Ethan, but I guess he is giving them some story.

Happy birthday to Ruah. Hope you have a good day. Today is my taxes deadline to get it to the accountant and I haven't even started to fill it all out. Yikes.

Have a good day everyone.

Ugh... taxes vs. first born child.... I'll take mine. Good luck.

My boys are literally stuck on their sister. She has one on her left, one on her right and Rusty on her lap. I couldn't help it and asked what they would be like as adults. Then I asked Shiloh if any man would be good enough to take their sister from them and he said a definitive NO! lol....

I like Ethan. I'm interested to see where they go with all of this. I think he's cute (although that stock shot of him wasn't at all). At any rate Tracy with Ethan, Tracy with Sam, Tracy with Luke, Tracy with Spinelli, Tracy with Lulu... I'm good. The Tracy with Edward is lame though. And I'm really looking forward to Tracy with Helena and Tracy with Holly. I'm feeling really good about upcoming stories.

I hope we get to see a tracy/helena scene but not holding out too much hope.

Lainey might be interested in the SID article this week but personally I think Claudia is digusting, vile and is eating the show. Now she is trying to get pregnant to avoid Sonny killing her. We get treated to her with her legs up against the wall and Sonny coming in and asking her what she is doing after sex and she convinces him it is a yoga position. Oy!

I think GH's best move would be to let her go at her 26 week cycle but that sure ain't happening! Claudia makes me appreciate Carly and that is scary.

Seems like the teen scene and the younger set of maxie/spin/lulu/johnny/ethan will be dominating this summer. Hopefully we will get Tracy more than once a month this summer.

Recaps, Wednesday April 1st

I'm not going to bother with my usual breakdown. The others stories are Scrubs with PPD (nice Sonny/Robin scenes), Clic and blackmail, and CarJax about Michael. Lulu tries to get Ethan to replace Johnny, not Matt (so not sure if she will try again). Ethan steals Crimson's payroll.

Sc. 4 - Luke catches Ethan counting the money he stoled from Crimson and wants his cut, not realizing where it's from. Then Ethan asks him why Lulu is so cranky. Luke says it's because she's a Spencer and she's predisposed to be annoyed, but she's got the added fatal flaw of falling into the arms of every bad seed she finds. Ethan smiles to himself and says that sounds promising.

Sc. 6 - Luke has no sympathy for Lulu when she comes looking for the money - she took Ethan to Crimson so she's responsible for the risk. If she wants it back from "Tall, Dark and Gruesom" she has to get it herself. (Oh, Luke took his 'cut' - seriously, this is the first WTF moment I've seen in ages; luckily I know how Spencers work and Luke just threw down the gauntlet). Lulu tells them they're playing poker, and Luke shows concern for the first time that she migh have picked a game that she will lose.

Needless to say, lots of Luke hate going on.

Happy birthday Ruah!

I'm interested to see how all the spoilers play out- especially the ones about Tracy and Sam. Ethan doesn't bother me; I can take him or leave him, but I do want to see where they're going with him.

and TracyQartermaine, did you see the Logie nominations? Have you decided who you want to vote for for the Gold Logie? I can't decide between Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Kate Ritchie, or the mum from Packed to the Rafters!! ahh!

Aww, thanks Baby Girl. I'll pass that on to my other baby girl.

I've got something yummy from the GH prevues for next week:

A Closer Look: Young Love

Maxie is not receptive to Matt's flirting and later balks when Lulu suggests that she attend the Crimson event with the doctor. Lulu makes a scene when Maxie suggests that she'll go to the event with Ethan instead of Matt. Kate casts the deciding vote: Maxie and Matt will attend the event together. Lulu's victory is short-lived as Ethan presses Lulu to stick to her story and go out with him. Tracy's wheels begin to spin after she sees Ethan's weathered photo of Luke and Robert in their younger days. Fearing that Ethan is Luke's son, on Wednesday, April 8, Tracy does her best to convince Lulu not to go on her scheduled "date" with the schemer. Maxie vows vengeance after Lulu convinces Kate to make Matt Maxie's permanent escort for public appearances. Tracy confronts Ethan. Lulu's heart breaks when Johnny confesses that he almost slept with Maxie. Remorse does little to stop Maxie from pulling Johnny into a kiss which Spinelli witnesses. Lulu doesn't get the reception she anticipated when she arrives at Ethan's motel room.

Tuesday, April 14th: Claudia scrambles to save her neck. The hospital's re-opening ceremony gets a very unwelcome guest. Tracy's suspicions about Ethan grow stronger.

Looks like Mama Bear is on the case. I hope Baby Bear is a little more open this time - cause Mama is always right.

You beat me to it Remos. Sounds good. I must say that I am at the point where I would rather see Tracy with Lulu, Sam, Spin, Edward. Lunacy is losing it's appeal to me--being that I know he is gone soon and they are not even sharing scenes much. At least it gives her something to do.

And Tony is not my favorite person at the moment to say the least.

    • That's always been my thought. I can't imagine that the show would play up the unseen AD so far in advance without them casting a *star*. After today's episode, I wonder if he'll somehow be connected with Diane. It was strange that Diane mentioned her very distant family today. I can't recall Diane ever talking about her backstory. Maybe he's her much younger brother?  It's also possible he's connected to Diane during her time in LA. Sally's already said she crossed paths with him. OC, I think Dumas is Mariah's mistake.... As a side note, it was good to see some mixing it up - Adam with Clare/Kyle and Sharon with Tessa.
    • Here's the place to share some memorable criticism. You don't have to agree with it, of course (that's often where the fun starts). Like I mentioned to @DRW50, Sally Field was a favorite punching bag in the late '80s and early '90s.   Punchline (the 1988 movie where she and Tom Hanks are stand ups): "It's impossible to tell the difference between Miss Field's routines that are supposed to be awful, and the awful ones that are supposed to be funny." -- Vincent Canby, New York Times. "It's not merely that Field is miscast; she's miscast in a role that leaves no other resource available to her except her lovability. And (David) Seltzer's script forces her to peddle it shamelessly." -- Hal Hinson, Washington Post. "As a woman who can't tell a joke, Sally Field is certainly convincing. ... Field has become an unendurable performer ... She seems to be begging the audience not to punch her. Which, of course, is the worst kind of bullying from an actor. ... She's certainly nothing like the great housewife-comedian Roseanne Barr, who is a tough, uninhibited performer. Sally Field's pandering kind of 'heart' couldn't be further from the spirit of comedy." -- David Denby, New York   Steel Magnolias: The leading ladies: Dolly Parton: "She is one of the sunniest and most natural of actresses," Roger Ebert wrote. Imagining that she probably saw Truvy as an against-type role, Hinson concluded it's still well within her wheelhouse. "She's just wearing fewer rhinestones." Sally Field: "Field, as always, is a lead ball in the middle of the movie," according to Denby . M'Lynn giving her kidney to Shelby brought out David's bitchy side. "I can think of a lot more Sally Field organs that could be sacrificed." Shirley MacLaine: "(She) attacks her part with the ferociousness of a pit bull," Hinson wrote. "The performance is so manic that you think she must be taking off-camera slugs of Jolt." (I agree. If there was anyone playing to the cheap seats in this movie, it's Shirley.) Olympia Dukakis: "Excruciating, sitting on her southern accent as if each obvious sarcasm was dazzlingly witty," Denby wrote. Daryl Hannah: "Miss Hannah's performance is difficult to judge," according to Canby, which seems to suggest he took a genuine "if you can't say something nice ..." approach. Julia Roberts: "(She acts) with the kind of mega-intensity the camera cannot always absorb," Canby wrote. That comment is so fascinating in light of the nearly 40 years Julia has spent as a Movie Star. She is big. It's the audience who had to play catch up. And on that drag-ish note ... The movie itself: "You feel as if you have been airlifted onto some horrible planet of female impersonators," Hinson wrote. Canby: "Is one supposed to laugh at these women, or with them? It's difficult to tell." Every review I read acknowledged the less than naturalistic dialogue in ways both complimentary (Ebert loved the way the women talked) and cutting (Harling wrote too much exposition, repeating himself like a teenager telling a story, Denby wrote). Harling wrote with sincerity and passion, Canby acknowledged, but it's still a work of "bitchiness and greeting card truisms." The ending was less likely to inspire feeling good as it was feeling relieved, according to Denby. "(It's) as if a group of overbearing, self-absorbed, but impeccable mediocre people at last exit from the house."
    • I tend to have two minds about Tawny (Kathy Najimy) fainting during Soapdish's big reveal. You're the costume designer, if anything, you should have known the whole time. I guess it's an application of what TV Tropes calls the "Rule of Funny." Every time I watch Delirious, I always want the genuine romance in John and Mariel's reunion at the deli counter to last longer. Film critics had their knives out for Sally in this period. I'll start a separate thread on the movies page.
    • I don't think so, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was Dumas this whole time.
    • Tamara Tunie was serving up grand dame diva fierceness.
    • Nick told Victoria that he and Sharon had married in England.  Victoria was shocked.  Then she realized he was kidding.  He confirmed it was a joke and they're platonic. I don't even know what to say about that.
