Random story spec: Since the main family only has two daughters, a long lost son is bound to turn up, or he'll be a character already on the show whose paternity/maternity is a secret.

Would not surprise me, as per the original breakdown for "Patrick Jackson," it stated in the final line: "However, he’s also hiding a dangerous family secret!" so that would not surprise me if that could be the "dangerous" secret (if they are keeping that tidbit for Vernon.

Video was meh to me; didn't really provide anything we didn't already know, and their opinions were kind of... meh to me.

Well I don't know enough about Andre Hamilton and I'm looking forward to learning the specifics of why that's his last name among other things. I also didn't know much about the youngest Hamilton daughter until I listened to this video.

Oh you count on there being a Dupree son somewhere in this ensemble eventually. I wouldn't be surprised if they already had it planned and for storyline purposes, decided to save him for later.

Give me an opportunistic tramp on a rainy day and I'm good to go. ❤️

Amen! That's really what I get into soaps for! Throw in a catfight and you've got me!

I'm getting ahead of myself, but I'm excited for the first major character they add once the series is on air. There is always a missing piece or two waiting in the wings.

I can't believe we have a new show to look forward to and new storylines. For the most part, the current soaps are going in circles. It's nice to be able to anticipate something different for once.

I just hope they don't settle into too many "meant to be" pairings of characters, since I think that's an issue with todays soaps going in circles. You know certain characters will just end up together no matter what, so I'm hoping they will break that rut.

So this is my show, so many people working so hard to bring this vision to life. I have been humbled and honored to be with you these last three weeks. I’m cherishing my last day with you tomorrow and I will miss being here with you, feet on the ground. Gratitude forever 🙏🏽

Seems possible. A half sibling in a main family is a common go to for tension on soaps.

Awww...an old soap tradition revived. Actors on the P&G soaps BITD used to get these gift packs also.

Yep, and actually, P&G does that for a lot of their employees and associates in general.

Agreed.

Even though I did see the first couple of episodes of Sunset Beach (missed first two episodes), Port Charles and Passions, this is the first time I get to watch a brand new soap as an adult. The previous occasions, I couldn't tune in daily due to being in middle/high school so I wasn't as aw are of everything going on early on. I only really kept up with Passions in its latter years due to SON.

I was an adult when Passions and PC debuted(a little over 20) but this is so exciting!
