No, she's alive.  She just apparently hates her own child as much as we do and won't come a pick her up and raise her.

Just realized Spencer and I have the same birthday (not the same year lol).

I find Rachel mildly humorous, so I don't think you'd like Violet.  Violet's not a demon at all.  She's just this weird lisping, child prodigy who sings, plans dates, knows grown up business, and is overly precocious to say the least.  Rachel is supposed to be a spoiled terror.  Violet is supposed to be adorable.

These two answers are hysterical. I’m grateful now that I’ve been spared so far

.

While I like that Michael is fully involved with the Quartermaines now, I despise that he ever forgave Sonny after he killed AJ in cold blood. Hell they let Sonny out of prison for it because he illegally left prison and somehow saved someone important’s life. I’m now reminding myself why even with this whole Sonny is friends with good people in town, I still despise the character. And Mo competing with Eric Braeden on who can be more disinterested doesn’t help. Though he’s been lighting up when he’s with Ava.

She & I are thinking about doing a stand-up routine where we talk at the same time & half say the same words & half different, very earnestly & we have to get louder & louder because of the other one. At the end we turn to each other & say, "You lousy slut, who did you have to sleep with to get this job?"

Love the version of Sonny PM/Korte are showing us.

Love the way Ava is playing Sonny.

Love that Sonny's drinking is a sign for us to see that he is on a slippery slope.

Was Peace the only Black writer left on staff period or the only BDW? I thought they had several still. I do agree they need to add more and it would surprise me if PM didn't given his record.

Just pull a Grey's and have Finn leave a note for Liz saying he and Hayden are giving it another shot far, far away with that demon spawn. But I feel like perhaps even more than ME at this point you'd have to pry Violet away from Uncle Frank with the jaws of life. He is incredibly fond of precocious children who eat their scenes (say what you will about the Aldersons at OLTL, they didn't do that as kids). Poor Patrick Gibbons (little Sam on OLTL/Wyatt on GH) isn't even an actor anymore nor can he act, and he keeps coming back bc Frank can't let go of him or the old show. Let that teenager go play hockey!

The only actual actor between the two left onscreen! Jake is a good boy who has no time for Stone Old and is only 40% brainwashed by the Cassadines as a sleeper assassin since toddlerhood.

Was that Character growth I saw in Jason Morgan . Worried that his cover was blown and all that work could be lost. Even saying maybe he could get a new assignment. I know they used Rico charges to get him in the FBI but does Jason enjoy the work?

I would say yes.

Today on GH, Day 8 of PM/EK Another Tuesday that seemed like a Friday show! Our new HWs are spoiling us rotten! So much happened. But the best of it was Anna & Jason in Interrogation Rm 1. Anna moved from Conflicted Status to Team Jason! Jason was truthful & told more than before even. He didn't know Cates was Stone's brother. Anna had to tell him Britt died. Steve Burton did a 5 point reaction using only facial expression & upper body posture. (He's been hiding acting ability!) Now it's only Epiphany's death, that's left.

Team Jason: Jason, Carly, Danny, Micheal, Willow, Spinelli & Maxie still presumed, Joss, Brook Lynn, +Anna
Team Anti-Jason: Sam, Cates, Alexis, Sonny, Drew, presumed Lois & Nina, Trina, Chase, Jake, +presumed Ava
Conflicted: Kristina & Molly
PWAgendas: Drew, Sam, Sonny, Cates

I would hope in 2024 giving writers a shot that are new to the genre and diverse would be paramount. These soaps desperately need diversity on both sides of the camera, especially writing!

Frank loves kids almost as much as Gloria Monty hated them (or Labine killed them!).

    • Maeve makes a few sporadic appearances, but returns full-time the next spring/summer. She's back in time to see Bill and Michelle graduate, although she skulks around town and wasn't going to tell anyone she was alive. She comes back wearing this HUGE hat---which was a throwback to the old Vanesaa. lol.
    • Aww, yeah it's very heartbreaking and I mostly enjoyed the Nola/Vanessa scenes because they finally let their walls down and came together in a beautiful moment. So Nola was at the hospital already and bumped into Vanessa, who had MRI papers that fell out of her hand and Nola went down to pick them up and asked her what was going on. Later, Vanessa confided in her about her disease. Then, Nola told Zachary on the beach (he prodded her and already alluded to knowing something was going on with Van), and then Vanessa found out she told him and got a little upset. Now, however, Nola is strangely absent while everyone is mourning her death. I'm curious if Nola will actually tell people about her MRI results. I would assume so. Only Nola, Rick, Roger and Zachary know anything, although there is the MRI results letter from the mail that everyone has missed seeing at home. I'm sure it'll all come out at some point. But... I just saw the next episode and the opening already cut Vanessa out and added Dahlia and Zachary. I guess Maeve is gone for a long time

That will break my heart seeing the town continue to mourn her and assume she's dead. I can't wait to see her return though, and I have to imagine feelings will be torn between loving that she's alive and being very angry she did all of this. While I hate what Vanessa is doing, I'm happy to hear it's not totally against her character. I think you're right, had Henry still been around, she wouldn't put him through this. I'm still surprised she is with Bill, though. I get her feelings on Matt, because she wants him to move on, but still very heartbreaking. I'm glad this was Maeve's choice to have a break vs. being fired.    Interesting, so I'm curious to see who they eventually pair Phillip with. They're flirting with a Phillip/Annie pairing, but I'm not sure if they'll go that route with the Jeva drama, her growing pill addiction, and Rick's past with her.  Ugh, yeah I'm so sad to see Bridget do a total 180 in the last couple weeks. She has always been a strong character from what I've seen, but now she's just bending over backwards to get Hart to love her and it reeks of desperation. Yeah, sure, this new Hart is eye candy, but I'm already tired of seeing Hart/Dinah have sex all over Springfield and the Cayman Islands haha.
    • Yes.  I remember them together during the early summer of 1986.  They didn't share scenes again for 30 years until 2017 because Carrie wasn't on the show when Anna returned during Sydney's kidnapping.
    • I can see Kim being that way. Well, Kyle didn't have to say yes. LOL. The suicide attempt feels plot-driven. I don't know if even Long could've made it work. She'd spent so much time trying to make Reva and Kyle into a couple, it feels odd to just have them give up. Not to mention how odd it is to have Maeve agree to marry him. Re Charita---surely they could've at least tried  finding clips with who was still there. Maybe they wouldn't have been "big" moments, but surely she'd interacted with Ross, Vanessa, and Henry. Vanessa had dated Ed, FCOL. But Mo and Rick were there---surely they could've bothered to find some clips of her with them (and they did interact a fair amount) and used them. And with Ed they could've found some shot of her talking to him and just not cut to whoever was playing Ed in the clip. That to me is what feels lazy---they had more than a year to figure it out, and they went with a bunch of photos. If you were sort of centering it on Rick anyway---then find clips with them and use 'em.
    • I definitely think it's time to write off Nina for good. I think her killing Drew might actually be a good idea. She could completely lose it after losing both Sasha and Willow and she ends up murdering Drew and eventually she gets caught and sent away to prison for a long time.
    • I hope it's okay to post this here(as in from DC)
    • Quick question - did Christie and Leann share any scenes together in the '80s before Leann left the show?
    • This is the perfect way to encapsulate the situation. So many morally-reprehensible stories were foisted on the show and its characters in ATWT's dwindling years. Rape should never be used as a cheap plot device or in a way that degrades the victim. Jack's sexual assault was another heinous example of how nasty the the show's tone had become. The fact that people like Hogan Sheffer, Ron Carlivati, Jean Passanante, Charles Pratt, Dena Higley, etc., somehow end up winning awards for their material, decimates the credibility and integrity of the awards, IMHO. Soaps used to have a solid moral core and did not originally wallow in the gutter, rolling around in filth and depravity just to be cool, hip, campy, or whatever else modern-day PTB aim for. Thank you. Cruelty, degradation and misogyny are not components which lend themselves to successful soaps, which have always been predicated on warmth, family bonds, and providing a comforting haven for their audience. The genre has been crippled because the cynical and ignorant executives in charge understand neither the shows nor what the audience wants to see.
