That was such a creepy storyline twist. Victor had always been a father-figure to Sharon, and to have this story happened, felt sooooo weird and wrong.

I kind of thought around that time EB had developed real life issues with SC which may or may not have been resolved IRL….I always have to wonder if that influences the fact  that the Victor/Sharon relationship can never go back to what it was..

Hehe at @DramatistDreamer. I swear they are spying on your story about Daniel, Heather, and Lily now. My system has been in and out so I'm sure I've missed a lot of it, but they do appear to be playing it and loving Vail Bloom back and she DOES have a bit of chemistry with MG, too.

The last time I regularly viewed Y&R, Daniel and Summer had washed their hands of Phyllis now that she was out. So watching Giggly Heffa ki-king with Summer was RME.

I am very happy we are still seeing the Chancellor manison post Ashley/Tucker wedding.

Speaking of that...where is Ashley?

You did say you wanted Heather to be an obstacle for Daniel/Lily and wanted a triangle to slooowwwly build. I believe last week she announced she's staying in town and I loved the scenes I just watched between the two of them today. But VB is gorgeous lol. I loved that red on her.

Speaking of red, of course Giggly Heffa is trying to manipulate.

For years, I insisted that As The World Turns might have lasted a few more years if they had hired me.

Seriously, I never understood why these soaps never bothered to recruit directly from the writing departments of the top arts schools.

I just came across this clip which likely explains why MG and VB might actually have that bit of chemistry.

Apparently, Phyllis was also on trial back then…somethings never change.

Wow. Quite a few things going on that I am actually liking.

First of all, let me shake my head. What was the point of doing all this buildup with Tucker/Ashley and getting invested...only for him to fall back into bed with Audra again...who is still sleeping with Kyle? Another WTD storyline...please no. All that comes out of this storyline (I hope) is a well-timed Ashley Abbot slap.

And I can give credit where credit is due. At least they did establishment scenes (with flashbacks) to show Summer having the realization that she has feelings for Chance. And AL as usual did that so well as well. But I'm down for Sharon/Chance/Summer. Anything to keep Sharon on my screen doing something other than coffee.

And we all know I'm here for Lily/Daniel/Heather. In fact, I continue to be so happy that Daniel has been around for so long now. Has it been a year yet?

I admit that I giggled at Victoria getting demoted.

Which reminds me...loving all the shirtless men on display. Also loving the cameramen getting those back angles right...hehe.

Especially since they seem like they are borrowing from your story ideas anyway.

Thank you for the clip. And yes, I (and Amber ugh) can tell they have some chemistry. And I'm enjoying them very well. But it also shows why we need more young people. More young and AMBITIOUS people. It's a shame Noah and Allie (and Faith and Moses) are already gone.

HAHAHA!!!! Yes, Red stays in court.

Something else I enjoyed this week. So good to see more of Esther now that she's running Crimson Lights for Sharon.

I hope not tbh. Because if she does get preggers, it just feels like such an elephant in the room with her lost baby by Noah.

I've been wanting them to go with a Summer/Chance pairing. It would be interesting to bring Abby/Devon into that equation as well.

I still wish we could get one single episode where characters didn't talk about mergers and acquisitions of vague companies.

    • Some of those 1988-ish episodes are up. I'm not really sure she did much else. I think I recall something along the lines of she and Rusty had been suspended over the investigation of Nicky, George's supplier. I'm not sure she even gets some kind of goodbye. I think she just disappeared when Pam Long returned.
    • I did not care, just clarifying that was the discussion point. If there are ice cream bars in Statesville I am sure there is a full spa
    • Seeing Peter Bergman (Jack) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki) act opposite each other really makes me mad that their short-lived reunion in 2012 was just that... short-lived. I've always loved the Jack/Nikki pairing.
    • No.  I recall there was also a mention about how distracting it was EOB's Gwen wasn't wearing nail polish as well.  That it was someone's pet peeve. And, yes, the fact characters can have a manicure in prison is the wildest continuity issue here.
    • Can anyone remember Mary Ellen Stuart's run as Jenny? I'm trying to fill in the cracks for missing stuff that we overlooked.  Bulletpoints:  * Dated Ross * Rusty's police partner * Directly responsible for Dinah coming forward about George Stewart (Cam's father)
    • But that's not weird... nail polish is allowed in prisons via commissary. Same with general makeup, haircuts, and hair colouring products.
    • This is DAYS, the show that said you could brainwash anyone with simple kitchen appliances.  An actor's nail polish or lack thereof should be the least of our concerns, lol.
    • It was not that she wasn't wearing nail polish, it is that she managed to get a manicure in prison
    • "We're Knot Done Yet": the name of this lovely podcast AND what JVA tells her plastic surgeon at every appointment. In other news, Michele Lee is reminding me more and more of my old music teacher from elementary school, and I couldn't STAND that bitch.
    • I apologize if this has been covered already, but does anyone know whether Douglas Marland was HW'ing by that point?  If he was, then I see what he meant when he said (in so many words) that he had inherited a mess when he started at GH.  Aside from Alan and Monica, none of that material seems very promising.  The story with Mark Dante and the Corbins is the wrong kind of predictable (y'know, the kind where you know what's going to happen, but you just don't give a crap?), the stuff with Scotty and Laura is cute but toothless, I don't know WHAT the hell Gina and Steve Carlson's character are arguing about and Rick Webber has to be the dumbest man alive not to see David Hamilton twirling his invisible moustache over how to make a killing off Lamont Corbin's declining health.  (By the way, "LAMONT CORBIN"?  What is this, "The Shadow"?  And "Corbin Limited" sounds like some jive I'd hear over on Y&R.) In a way, it's kind of like watching today's GH, right down to the dialogue that's serviceable and pushes plot along but says nothing about the characters' inner lives.
