Was Nicole shot in the uterus?  I thought that was Sam on GH.  I thought Nicole couldn't get pregnant or carry full term because of her porn past and some venereal issues.  Lol!  

EJ was five at the time, so he's probably also forgotten about it.

Literally do not remember this, but it clearly happened.  I sort of want to look up where/when. I don't know why I thought it had something to do with her porn past.  Damn, Sam McCall really stole Nicole's story on GH I guess.

I think the confusion may be that when Nicole miscarried her kid with EJ, which led to the baby switch with Sami and Mia, she was told that she couldn't carry a baby to term because of scaring that occurred during her porn period (perhaps written by someone who forgot she had also been shot). 

If Nicole thought that was a miraculous conception, she must think this pregnancy 21 years after she took a bullet will become the second advent!  Although stranger things have happened in Salem, it is incredible that she can feel the baby move and test for paternity two days after conception.

Yes!  That's what I was thinking of as far as her infertility issues.  The scaring.  I really don't dislike the idea of Nicole/Eric having a kid, but with everything else going against her it's quite a stretch.  

When/why was she shot?  Do you recall?  I think the coronation was earlier?  Did it have something to do with Victor?

 

It was in 2002, so I assume it was during the divorce from Victor when they were trying to kill each rather than get a divorce.

That was Days needs now more than anything; just realistic stuff because everything you’ve mentioned has been more than done to death under Ron.

Happy 5000th Dee!! 🎉🎉

There were some things I liked about the tribute today. The flashback to her first scene with Mickey, John’s toast and the appreciation for Marlena/Dee that was conveyed. But the episode really needed to have some of her family in it. Eric, Belle, somebody lol. She’s helped them a lot too as a parent and as a psychiatrist.They kind of missed the mark with that one. And yeah, I guess it is one of Marlena’s biggest triumphs but we didn’t need a flashback of her with Ben and her praise of him either. 

Speaking of the RSW 🍆 that the show has, the Alex scenes would have been better if Maggie hadn’t been thrown under the bus. And damaged even more just to prop Alex. He screwed up, but somehow Maggie’s gonna end up being the bad guy.

Btw, was Yuri’s last name being Kasnoff supposed to be a wink wink nod nod to ATWT?

I did like the Roman/Maggie scenes though. I can’t even remember the last time they had scenes together. And with all the talk of Bo and Hope, I still hope we find out what went wrong with the storyline.

That's all Deidre got? What a sh!t celebration!  The first few flashbacks were nice.  But to end it we get one of Ben of all people??? Both Ben and Ben 2.0 in one episode. Carlivati sure has a hard on for RSW. The tribute to Dee was a waste of time.

Ben 2.0 and the Stephanie scenes were zzzzzzzzz and pure fast forward material.

Mumbles and Maggie was the same dialogue as he had with other characters.

The best part was Chad being the one that found Kate.

I can't find any evidence that Sami shot her, but since Sami does shoot people by accident regularly I am going to believe this.

The tribute was okay.  I would have picked different flashbacks, but the Pit, Marlena falling off the building, and the Mickey one aren't used very often.  I won't comment about the Ben one lol.  Regardless, I am happy it was given a celebration.

Was that Josh Flagg from Million Dollar Listing playing Yuri?  Peacock synergy lol.  Why was Stephanie even there?  And was Yuri doing coke in the bathroom?  Is that what was being implied?  So silly.

I am a little confused as to why Chad is still helping find Kate.  He's just leaving his young kids with 90 year olds Doug/Julie for an extended period of time?  Cool.  Realistically, Roman should be helping instead, but at least Chad's not 50 plus so I guess that helps the cause more.

I think I would have written a simple celebration for just Marlena, John and whatever kids and grandkids are floating around Salem atm.  No other characters or stories would be featured; just Doc and her loved ones maybe having a private party and providing opportunities for Marlena to reflect upon her many adventures via flashbacks (and yes, those flashbacks would have both Wayne Northrop and Josh Taylor as Roman, because, come on, we're not idiots, lol).

No.  It was just Marlena/John and about 4 flashbacks. A regular episode with different segments.  John was celebrating the fact Marlena had helped 5000 patients.  No kids.  No Roman/Don/children flashbacks

Chad, Steve, and Steve Burton went to save Kate from her captor.  Stephanie/Alex tried to make a business deal with a Million Dollar Listing realtor.  Maggie/Roman talked about something for awhile.
