In the cdn

Audra and Elena were talking says Victoria had a colorful love life talks about Ashland and Billy than  says Victoria once had a true love who disappeared than came back violent and different.

Elena asked if she meant JT and she said he was released from prison and could make a great story, she wants to bring him back to town and do a interview so he can make amends and to secretly set Victoria back up with him.

Could Thad be back?

Audra: "I did my study into JT as well. Turns out he was released from prison. He’s just avoided Genoa City since he’s been out. And I was thinking -  JT deserves to have his story told. And that’s when it hit me - wouldn’t his life make an interesting part of your podcast?”

What is Amelia and Thad's current relationship status? They seemed to be reconciling around his last stint. What an unnecessarily dark turn for that character. Fans were so happy to see him back, and how seamlessly he fit back on the canvas.

I wouldn't mind a Mac drop-in too. Kelly did a great job her last few appearances. I was hoping that would become more of recurring role since the JT mystery was left unresolved for so long. I bet Chance could use the visit and the support from his cousin. Maybe a Mac/Adam fling could work out too?

TL just landed a 'heavily recurring' role on a Paramount+ series. The credits bio at the end of the article mentioned several TV series, movies and his production company. Guess what was missing?

I expect that TL will make a brief cameo as part of 50th, but that'll be all. The writer responsible for turning JT into a psycho ... ugh.

That was a ROUGH story to play with your spouse if you’re having marriage problems. Maybe they worked out some demons through it.

I hated the story not just because it was SUCH a lazy (but PG) ripoff of what Big Little Lies did with the Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgård story, right down to the hot sex after the incidents of abuse, but Thad was the only actor on the show with real charisma at the time. Granted, he probably wouldn’t have returned without it, since it gave him a big acting challenge (but no Emmy nominations for him or Amelia).

That's pretty much what happened last time. 4 month contract for the abuse story and he came back for a week or two to wrap it up when JG came back.

And, I read that article, guess the author doesn't consider a soap to be anything

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
