I think this change ends the casual viewer…and may cause those who were getting bored or are bored to move on, ofc less likely to get hate watching if you have to pay. The one thing that gets me is the whole Beyond Salem was successful behind paywall, but part of that had to do with people who may not be on Days proper for months to come so they cannot capitalize. Agree if they did post complete library of 20th century episodes, I would be happily surprised.

I'm reading comments on Facebook and fans are asking Dan J Kroll from SOC  if cast and storyline changes will be made. He said no since they've already taped to the end of year. You know people want change!

Maybe this could work out? I mean look at Lucifer and Manifest, they jumped to streaming after they were cancelled. I mean I know it was for their final seasons but the fans screaming at the networks is what made Netflix pick it up, they saw their was a fanbase there for these shows and people WILL jump to their streaming service to watch

Look at me being optimistic lol

Either we try being optimistic or go nuts right now, hope's the last one to die, right?

Very true! They're simply putting the show to risk for what? 5 million dollars? They don't want to give one more penny to simply get a few more Subscribers and dollars that's plain petty

    • It's always hot when he's onscreen
    • True. So it must be the heat.   LOL. Oh, you.
    • That's a lousy ad. They didn't even choose good headshots. That's the least attractive I've seen Gregory Harrison look in his entire career. He looked hotter on GH last year! And CBS would keep bringing over ABC or NBC actors (more often ABC) for their soaps, further gutting their identities. Sad all around. Of course, they are the only network to have more than one soap on the air, so who am I to judge?
    • He always looks a snack to me lol!  Yes Blue is his color for sure! Those arms of his are huge *must not think dirty thoughts*
    • Maybe trying to ramp up the nostalgia factor? The only original characters left on the show were Angela, Lance, and Chao-Li. But FC hadn’t been watched by too many since 1987 and the finale didn’t bring back any old living characters like Emma, Cole, Peter Stravos etc.
    • 5-13   That was kinda meh except for the coda. Liam figuring out that Hope knows he's dying. And ending it on that. Good acting.   Oh, Luna. smh. But I guess I do look forward to see how she expects to wiggle her way into Finn's life. And uh oh at Sheila and seeing the wheels start to turn again. Honestly, he's been looking like a whole snack the last few weeks. And I can't decide if it's just the heat here lol or if he's just been working out more than usual.  But blue and shades of it has been such a great color on him.
    • For the Nurses Ball, I don't like what GH has done in recent years having U/5 professional dancers in the back of all the staged numbers -- nobody we recognize but they are wearing medical garb wardrobe as they dance alongside the GH characters. I'd prefer to see only the GH characters dancing and singing imperfectly.
    • Oh that's a good point! I was saying only that I'd prefer that the product placement not be heavily featured by the cameraperson during a stressful scene, because it takes me out of the moment. I don't mind it being part of the background of scenes -- most of the time, I like it. I saw a similar tweet from another BTG viewer that said something along the lines of Tide being for when there is (emotional) mess to clean up...  and Febreze is for the calming after the mess.
    • These writers and Frank (especially Frank) have to go!!!
    • I remember the articles and fan letters complaining about Alfonso so I wouldn't be surprised if Alfonso didn't want to talk about her time on the show. She was probably used to being the fan favorite. She got a lot of flack for being the "Ana Alicia replacement" and that hurt her from the beginning.  It's odd that CBS would think that hiring Alfonso would lure Days viewers to the show, but they kept doing that to their daytime soaps (as did NBC with ABC actors) and it rarely worked.
