I am not upset by this, but I am stumped on what role he would be, and whether it is newly created or a cast.

I mean, he could be but, I don't see it, especially if he's only greatly impacted Britt, Dante & Sam. Surely a Jason recast would also affect more than those three.

But yeah, I’m really starting to admire the budget that GH has. If only Days had a budget like that
