But this cover is pretty indicative to me in where these shows went wrong and why the genre is dying. None of these people is involved in anything showcasing deep emotion, or innovation. It’s just the same older characters stuck in stories that they have well past aged out of, instead of something deeper for all of them. And again- I love characters like Marlena.
