Exactly my thoughts when I read this! Renee was a fave of mine as a kid. Her and Tony were such a great couple, then throw in Anna to the mix.

Ron will ruin it and yes, an insult to the late, great Philece Sampler. 

I just hope that Tony and Anna are used effectively in this storyline, and that the history is used correctly as well. By the time Renee was murdered, she had dropped DuMonde and was using Dimera as her last name.

And maybe I'm nuts, but wouldn't it have made MORE of an impact if "Renee" had revealed herself for the first time to Tony and Anna instead?

At the VERY least, this story has to climax with the REAL Renee coming back from the dead (and played by Anna Stuart?) or else there's just no damn point.  (Oh, who am I kidding?  There's just no damn point.)

If this is Ron's bizarre interpretation of a "tribute" to Renee and Philece, there's a much more plausible way to do it. Let Marlena, Tony, and Anna have a scene together talking about Kristen and this whole mask debacle. Marlena could mention how Andre used to wear one pretending to be Roman during the slasher storyiine. This could lead Tony to mention Renee's death and the three could have flashbacks of Renee. Marlena her friend. Tony her lover. Anna her rival.

My first reaction to the SOD pictures is that Renee would never appear in public without eyeliner and a heavily glossed lip.  So, whoever this chick thinks she is, she's not Renee.
