I'm glad Krista Allen was finally able to ditch the Kim Zolciak-like mop on her head.

Paris' mom is going too hard on Carter. I mean, I can understand her not liking him because of the Zoe thing, but if she were to "reveal" that Carter is kissing Paris, what's the real consequence? Paris and Zende are both mutually dating other people. Or at least, Zende's extracurricular activities are well known, and what's good for the goose is good for the gander.  If Eric and Ridge can forgive Carter for screwing Quinn, they'll barely blink an eye over him kissing an armadillo (sorry... she kisses weird).

Side Note: Exactly why did Sheila target Brooke so much?  Isn't Steffy a greater threat at keeping her away from her son and grandchild?

One big problem is that this show hasn’t done the greatest job at tying Zende to the Forresters. His scenes are almost all separate from his adopted family. Like would they care?

I wonder if Grace will have any role other than spoiler for Carter and Paris. It just feels forced to me, like they needed a story for this part of the canvas and didn’t really think it through. It would have felt more organic for Quinn to have some buyer’s remorse over sticking with Eric and feel uncomfortable witnessing Paris (who ratted Quinn out to Brooke) growing closer to Carter. But John McCook and Rena Sofer haven’t been seen much, so I’m assuming it’s just a general availability issue.

I'm really hoping they put Grace in other characters' orbits as well.

I'm still not getting the whole why Paris is so wonderful thing. Again, we're told it, but not shown it. I think something that would jumpstart the story would be to bring back Reign Edwards as Nicole. She was such a great actress and completely squandered by the end. But, bringing her back as Zende's ex could liven the mix.

I wouldn't mind a Bill/Katie/Grace triangle. Maybe Bill starts to have some health problems and Grace ends up treating him and they slowly fall for each other. Which on B&B means in two weeks' time and it would have Katie at first be not bothered but realizes she still has feelings for him. But you know Brad will get bored with Cassandra Creech like he did with Ted King and countless other A-list Daytime Veterans and Primetime stars over the decades.

I wish they will have Paris and Hope become good friends. She needs a life outside the latest love triangle this show can throw her in.

I don't know but perhaps it was because Krista's hair is shorter than Hunter Tylo's hair was.  So they put Krista in a wig for the first two months to show her with Hunter Tylo's hairstyle. But it was a terrible wig.  I guess the show finally felt that after two months, the audience would recognize Krista as Taylor, so they dispensed with the wig?  I loved how Krista constantly joked about the awful wig on her twitter. She knew it was bad and was happy to make fun of it.

    • no argument here! and as she was singing, i kept wondering how many verses ‘amazing grace’ had. looked it up: 13 — 13! — and i think she must have sung  every one.
    • Yasss, ANITA!!! GET HER!!!   Awww at Smitty calming Martin down.   'Oh, you're the one leaving.' That face like stone. Go 'head, Nicole.    Eva vs Kat...the gift that keeps giving.
    • I have to admit I still have a nagging complaint about timelines - Why aren't we allowed to know how long Ted and Nicole have been married or how old Kat and Eva are? Or for that matter, when Anita last released an album? BTG is a new show with no SORAS or timewarping. MVJ and Guza are working from a fresh bible. There is no need to be so coy about ages and anniversaries, especially when most of the storylines are driven by past events.
    • It was an extremely rare interview even then - I was shocked when I read it (as mentioned I'd forgotten just how far in she went). You could see how hurt and annoyed she was. I'm surprised he thought she came up with the baby story herself. She and Charles Keating did a good job with the material but it was absolute hokum. Even if they loved Carl and Rachel (and clearly they did), I don't see them coming up with stuff that, frankly, read like Geocities fan fic. Malone was clearly hobbled by NBC and P&G, but re-using so many of his old stories and his soap bible instead of actually coming up with material suited to the characters or show did not help.
    • Seeing this trash get good ratings says nothing good about daytime audiences. It's embarrassing.
    • Cat does feel committed to being a goofball (the other term has been reconsidered in recent years).  I wonder, given her brother Aaron, if Cat was less attractive prior to the surgery?  Remember the 1973 movie The Girl Most Likely to?  My fanfic for the moment is Cat commenting on how people treat her differently now that she is gorgeous.  One assumes that pre-surgery, Cat never had two men fighting over her for a date.  So, it might be fun to see that side of the story.
    • It's probably one of the only conflicts the story will have, aside from Dante being upset with Lulu when the truth comes out. They really needed someone else who actually knows Gio is Dante and Brook Lyn's son and kept quiet.
    • So Cat wasn't a creation of Ron C.. but something that the strike writers generated? Perhaps the new writers will give her some layers and purpose on the show that doesn't revolve around Chad since isn't he on his way out next year?
    • Another good show today, but -- Why is super agent Joss holding that thumb drive in plain sight instead of stashing it in her denim shorts? Make it make sense. -- Dante going after Gio (in the previews) for Rocco's alcohol poisoning is lame and cliche, just a contrived way to drive a wedge between father and son.
    • Didn't he get all angry because the strike writers set her up to be Abigail? And he just went with the first thing that came to mind in order to prevent that?
