I guess Abby wasn't technically pregnant, but setting it up like that is like catnip for future storyline purposes.

Well, what if there was an autopsy & it showed she was pregnant?!

Hilary on Y&R is a somewhat recent example.

Ugh. I forgot about that. At least, she wasn't murdered. I still don't get why they kill off important characters like that because the actor leaves. There's so many ways to create an effective exit that allows the remaining partner character to continue, which relates directly to Chad. Like the audience wouldn't buy yet another break-up? Please.

Ugh don’t remind me. That whole story made me sad and pissed me off. And the Amanda character sucks.

I read this in Lynda Hirsch's summary in May and I still don't know what to make of it?  Was it a fantasy scene that I missed?  It is from her 5/21 column which was weeks before the actual murder.  While, she has a notoriously bad editor, she never retracted the column.

After today's episode it looks like Lynda may have jumped the gun, but also may be correct?

Either way I am still surprised she was allowed to publish it online and in newspapers, and has never retracted nor commented on the story

If it is a true spoiler, retracting it would give it more publicity in a counterproductive way... See Streisand effect

My theory is that it was someone in a Sarah mask, which will enrage the fans

Didn't Abigail say it was two people?

I'm tired of Sarah and Sarah with whoever wears a mask cartoon. Time to end both.

IF SO, then  VERY LIKELY it's Gwen or Kristen.  I'd be fine with either choice, especially if we could see that character get the death penalty!!

wasn't there a rumour that there would Gwen/mask shenanigans coming up? So, probably her.
