Carly also had multiple men fighting over her and an entire group of guys at Jakes fantasized about her including her own cousin Lucky. Members carolineg Posted January 27, 2022 Members Share Posted January 27, 2022 I just don't think Carly is supposed to be the pinnacle of womanhood as a character (I believe Jax said that exactly to her and I died in my soul lol) especially for people who are blood related to her. LW is a stunning woman, but part of Carly's insecurities come from being the poor, scrappy, underdog. And actually GH does do that to an extent - its but it's just that a small group of characters (Sonny, Carly, Jason before he was "killed off" again) get to be on all the time and are never rotated out. One thing I liked about RC's run around the time of the 50th anniversary was that there seemed to be an attempt to equalise things a bit more.
