I think this may go like IR as Thorne. Krista Allen is 9 years younger than Hunter. Im not sure this will fit well

According to Entertainment Weekly, they did attempt to get Hunter Tylo to reprise the role, and were unsuccessful.

Such a random choice but Taylor is definitely needed! She’s gonna look so young next to her onscreen children but oh wells…

Tylo turned down a return to the show back in summer 2019 and mocked the show for the baby switch story on Twitter not surprised it was unsuccessful. 
 

I am a bit surprised given the tumultuous relationship with Tylo  over the years Taylor was never recast during the 2014-18 period. Too bad as Hunter actually had chemistry with TK Ridge there in 2018.

Let's be real, Hunter Tylo burned her bridge with this soap. Not to mention, Bradley Bell never utilized her right... plus, her last stint, she looked amateur in the role.

I wouldn’t be surprise if this version of Taylor ends up in bed with Deacon..That will make  Ridge, Brooke, Hope, Steffy and now Sheila probably seethe!

I guess it was bound to happen? Tylo's relationship and reputation with the show hasn't been solid in years...

I feel for her and the longtime audience but she's been a mess a long time.

I guess we might finally see a Sheila/Taylor confrontation after all these years. Unfortunately it will have a fraction of the gravitas without HT.
