I would love to see Ryan's Hope and perhaps Capitol (Does CBS still own the rights to that show?) Too bad it seems P&G will hold onto their library of shows until the end of the world. Imagine this channel airing 80's Another World or The Edge Of Night.

I'm guessing they were bombarded by social media and media questioning them lol. Good to know more is to come. We'll see where this goes ...

I don't feel like they'll just randomly air whatever, who knows, but YES PLEASE.

I always wonder about P&G. We had the AOL streaming thing. We had soap classics dvds. Another World was on SoapNet. But they seem so uninterested. I'd love to get ATWT and GL (and Edge, etc.) ... I don't really believe CBS wanted to buy them but P&G really should have sold their soap products off. (And if CBS did they'd just sit on the shelf collecting dust like AMC and OLTL are over at ABC)

I won't be 'greedy' and I'd simply be ecstatic to have Classic Y&R rerun. They seem to believe there's room for Classic B&B on YouTube so .... I know music, rights, etc. but still ... let's go ...

(reruns are just one main reason I think it was a mistake for the soaps to be a full hour. B&B is "easier", Ryan's Hope, Dark Shadows, The Doctors ... all half hour and more palatable to sit through)

Question is, are they going to be a catch-all soap streaming channel or are they trying to stick with CBS-esque/affiliated soaps? You know?

Pluto is a godsend for MST3K, RiffTrax, Dark Shadows and classic Doctor Who, among others. They also do 90210 and Melrose IIRC. The super low-rent ads they run in the abrupt commercial breaks crack me up, but I can keep Pluto on all night when I get sleep or am feeling low.

My idea of hell would be ABC, etc. licensing out soap reruns only from 2000-on which is probably what I can see happening, lol.

lol at the abrupt commercial breaks. So true.

It's nice to sometimes have Baywatch on in the background or 90210. I watched Melrose Place last night instead of Y&R (my first time on the Pluto soaps channel). I was so bored, sorry Y&R.

I could see the latter

I'd wish for Santa Barbara, but I know that will never happen for a host of reasons. If not that, I'd love to see Days of Our Lives, from the '60s (before my time) until the early '90s. Considering what Ron Carlivati has done to it, I'd like to remember when the show was worth watching.

Your idea of hell is similar to mine, only with P&G. And with boosters of certain a ATWT former executive producer and HW from that era of the show, they'd likely be the loudest cheerleaders and get heard first.

B&B is airing as I type this. If I’m not careful, this show is going to take over too many hours of my day with the current, from the beginning, and Pluto eps airing. I’m a little frustrated with the Pluto website. I can’t find a full schedule, it only appears to show what’s airing at the moment. Any help?

    • This show is really trundling along BTW. When is someone going to show up to slit Beastmaster's throat or crack the whip on metrosexual Sidwell? (BTW, openly presenting this cheery bon vivant as casually bisexual would at least be something vaguely diverting.) At least kill Brennan by year's end. I'm bored.
    • She told Vanessa to "DOUBLE her offer" on the Jarvis house.  The Jarvis family accepted the doubled price.  Assuming the house has an appraised value of $2,000,000, she's theoretically paid the Jarvis family $4,000,000 for the house.  The bank would loan Leslie 80% of the appraised value ($1,600,000), and Leslie had to pay the balance with cash at closing --- $2,200,000.  She only had ONE million.  Where the hell did she get the rest?!  And now she's got contractors working on the house all day & half the night.  Who's paying THEM?  I keep thinking all this will crash around her.  Either that or the writers have absolutely no idea the limits of a million dollars.  Sounds like a "lot of money", but it obviously ain't when we look at Leslie's spending since she got that million dollar check in August.

    • Vernon is an idiot. Why would he have Sharon in the same hotel that Leslie is staying at?
    • Yes, that out of the blue return was odd. Maybe GG found a forgotten clause in the contract he signed when he was wooed to ABC and they were forced to take him back! Like George Reinholt he talked about the contract that promised him primetime roles. But it was loaded in the networks favor. I think it was Gloria Loring that re-signed at Days on the promise of primetime opportunities, but that was all it was- she was put up for guest spots and TV movies but not necessarily guaranteed that she get the role.
    • I still am baffled by why Monty brought back stunt hire Gerald Gordon in the early '80s out of nowhere for like a year. I haven't found anyone who can come up with a thing he did in that second stint of note.
    • It's interesting to watch this having watched The Doctors. I'm not sure I'm seeing that much of a difference in the characters Gerald Gordon and Anna Stuart played on The Doctors and what they're playing here.
    • I keep forgetting a huge chunk of that year was written by scabs. You're probably right, because by the time the strike was over, they were likely planning an exit for Alan's character as it must have been obvious by then that Bernau was not going to return. If he was still there, it's also doubtful they would have approached MZ and MG about coming back. Wild.
    • And to think the original plan was for David and Lesley to have an affair.  Not only would that have made no sense - Lesley wasn't THAT stupid, lol - but it also would've ruined her and GH.
