The ending with Charlie rising from the dead was nice but Ciara and Ben celebrating her pregnancy was disgusting!!

Mardevil telling Ben's sister she wouldn't be the only evil spawn after Ciara gave birth was cringeworthy! I guess serial killer Ben isn't considered evil spawn.... Whatever Carlivati.

Really enjoyed the Tony tribute. I had almost forgotten that he made his debut 40 years ago as well.

And so yeah, Ben has wonder sperm

If it were me, I'd have Ciara find out that the baby is going to be a little demon, so she secretly gets an abortion but lies to Ben, who was overjoyed about being a father, that she had a miscarriage. It would be good conflict for Ben and Ciara instead of the months of lovey-dovey crap that we're going to get.

And welcome back, Mike Manning!

Speaking of hunks... we caught a glimpse of shirtless Brandon Beemer today.

I was so happy to see Tony and Anna. I just love them. I love Anna thirsting over how sexy Father John looked in his collar back in the day. I get it, girl.

Anna wants to play Kristen! Yes please.

Johnny looked so dumb today, lol. Marlena is acting weird and comes up with the world's lamest excuse for why she's hanging out at the DiMera crypt dressed as the devil, and Johnny is just like, "Oh okay, that's cool grandma."

Ben and Ciara = FF. I can guarantee I didn't miss anything.

What are the odds that Charlie was buried in those cute glasses of his?

So, Shawn was wearing underwear under his towel out of the shower?  That doesn't make a lot of sense, but I guess I'll buy it, given that no reason was shown why he was showering mid-day in the first place.

Where do Shawn and Belle live?  Are they in Hope's old house and did they keep their apartment in Hong Kong?

He had no towel on. He walks in shirtless with jeans on. The camera pans to his backside and you can see the top of his red underwear.

I believe they were staying at Marlena's penthouse.

Belle/Shawn live at Hope's house still.  I don't think Shawn was wearing anything but a towel lol.  I assume Shawn was showering mid day because they just got back from their trip?

Yeah, Johnny was being stupid with Marlena.  Outside of everything ridiculous that was happening Marlena would never be paying respect to Stefano.

ETA:  I guess I have to look at BB shirtless again to verify what he was wearing since there is a dispute lol

Belle/Shawn having been living at Hope's for awhile now.  Brady/Sami were staying at Marlena's.

This looks like a towel, unless we are thinking of two different scenes, he later pulls on some jeans.

The imaginary pull-on overhead lamp is an especially odd production quirk to get the lights on in the room, because it doesn't explain how he turned them off.

Does the butt crack qualify the episode for TV-14 status?

    • I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol.  I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends.   You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though.  MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught.  She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro.  Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
    • I thought Dante was going to put hands on Gio
    • If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her.  So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
    • That's because India, or the India MKA ended up playing, was created due to the fact that both she and Kristi Farrell were liked by TPTB, but the part they both read for didn't exactly fit either one of them so the show created two brand new characters for both actresses to play (India and Roxie) and opted not to cast the character they were intending to cast (A cousin of Beth's). I think that's why the show seemed to struggle at first with how to write both India and Roxie in their first months on the show because the characters weren't ever intended to exist.  And yes.. Grant A had a great body... but I didn't find him hot when he was playing Phillip.. only when he was playing Alec on AMC which baffles me since it was the same actor in both parts LOL
    • I shared this on Twitter and good grief the comments. Steffy fans can be such vile real-life human beings over a fictional character lol.
    • I remember Michael Logan interviewed L.A. actors/production staff about the movie. Susan Seaforth Hayes said she was dying to know Susan Lucci's reaction.
    • Thanks @Franko  @slick jones You may be interested in the Elisabeth Shue mention. I have to laugh that they apparently didn't even know Teri Hatcher was on Capitol. I have scans somewhere of SPW talking with soap actors about Soapdish. Some, like Mary Stuart, were not happy. I never had a lot of interest in the movie myself.
    • I never had much of a problem with Brandon Claybon's performance as Martin. He has gotten much better though. While I enjoy his confrontational scenes, I must say his lighter, and carefree scenes from Thursday's episode are the ones that stood out most in the last 3 days (to me).   I agree with all of this!
    • I know that Secret Storm had moved back to the 4/3 PM timeslot in the final months on air, so it's possible that they were trying to employ new techniques/elements to lure the teen demographic.   If that episode was around November/December 1973, I do wonder if the owners (AHS) were still trying to shop the show to other networks still.. or if they had accepted that the show was going to officially go off the air in Feb 1974 at the time of this episode airing.
