Such a sad little event. Y&R has yet to figure out how to fake a sense of space in this COVID era.

Posted this in the old thread...

Can anyone give me a timeline of events regarding Mariah's pregnancy/kidnapping? Stitch kidnapped her to get Abby back? What? I don't understand this story at all.

I don't mind it. Good that they introduce new names in the repertoire so that they are not stuck with a Victor Jr situation where they later have to randomly change the name because they didn't think two steps ahead.

LOL I found it funny they pumped in loud crowd noise yet there is zero other guests unless there ghosts or invisible 😂😂😂

You’d think they could at least dress up a few crew members to walk around to throw in or invite a few close family members to make it look like something.

Basically Stitch was still very guilt ridden over his son Max causing Abby’s miscarriage from five years ago, so he had Mariah kidnapped as means to protect the baby at all costs and he had unresolved feelings for Abby. Mariah had gone missing like a week before Stitch showed up.

Hope that helps, the rest to all too ridiculous to breakdown. The “clue” that was planted was Stitch lied about his job at the hospital as “Chief of Surgery” when Nate is actually that title holder. Why it took anyone a month to realize that before Devon’s “Aha!” Moment………

It’s *just* the most idiotic mess of a story.

Adam and Sally are darling!
Phyllis stomping around in that chartreuse satin dress in that small space was hilarious.  The ballroom is now open.

Thanks for explaining it  I watched most of it and still didn’t understand it.

Stitch's return had potential.

Abby could have grown close to him, causing her to question her commitment to her missing husband.

The whole Mariah is missing story needed to be handled better. Would you guys have preferred if it was just a random person that took her eg an old woman who could never have a child etc. Mariah could have been shown trying to reason with her and ultimately sympathizing while still trying to escape,

Stitch uncovers some evidence but uses it to look good to Abby.

Stitch hangs around. Maybe has some clashes with Nate at the hospital.

Plenty of possibilities not explored...

The popular fan theory that Chance had to put Mariah in a secret safe house to protect her from whatever investigation he was in was a lot more logical than what we saw play out on screen.

Thank you! That sounds very stupid!

There has to be a reason why Chance isn’t on our screens. Are they afraid to recast? Do they think Donny Boaz will for some reason file a grievance or lawsuit if they put another actor in the role too soon? I just don’t get it.
