I find Jason Thompson a lot more distracting as non-Abbott-or-Jill looking especially considering how different he looks from the frame of the previous three Billys.

  I find Jason Thompson is the BEST Billy Abbott, and looks more like a son of Jill and brother to Jack, than any other Billy before him. Jess Walton has stated in an interview I read, that she thinks Jason looks more like he could be her son.

I don't agree but different strokes.

I find Jason's Billy kind of earnest and reserved, and not the freewheeling mess up type character that Billy is supposed to be.

I like Jason but not as Billy. I still hate JFP for getting rid of David Tom.

I liked Jason as Patrick a lot too. I think he is miscast as Billy - it is Maura West as Diane miscast level for me. Fantastic actors but when a role isn't theirs, it just isn't.

I do love David Tom and I hate the way he was treated. I do sort of understand what they were saying about why it didn't work when he came back but the answer should have been to move Billy out of Victoria's orbit, not to recast.

Totally, but they have zero idea what to do with Victoria outside of Billy. We’ve had glimpses of non-Billy-obsessed Vicky (like with Travis), but it never lasts. That character needs a rethink, and as bad as the JT story was, it was the perfect opportunity for a reboot that would have been somewhat organic. (I understand it’s tough when they are tied together with kids. Maybe Billy needs a stint in prison or something, so that he’s off the canvas.)

I’ve missed a couple days, but has Lily still not seen her actual brother Moses? They don’t really consider her a Winters these days, do they?

She hasn't seen him yet. But the Neil memorial episode is coming up so she probably will see him then.

Lily probably will say that she's been so busy with life and work. Or the Josh Special that we'll find out they already saw each other offscreen.

I bet this is it. It’s too ridiculous that she’s been shown luxuriating in bed with Billy multiple times yet hasn’t seen her little brother over the course of weeks (while he’s had several interactions with Nick, Victor, Faith, et al).

I am sorry to be saying it and I don't know whose fault it is but they are very very clearly trying to write Lily as a white character who has as little to do with her AA background as possible.
