It’s amazing how a temp actor showed how much the current actor was so bad in the role!

SOD just broke the news as well:

Exactly!!!!

I thought DB was alright. But those tweets did him in for me given my various jobs and how his kind of stupidity is no bueno for me.

And I have to admit...JG just FIT better. He looked the part. There was chemistry. He was squeezed at the right time...with a wedding, acting with his RL wife, and chemistry with his mother a fan favorite aka Nina...who I love.

Sounds like too his exit is very quick. On Monday here and this past Friday in Canada.

LOL Goddard didn’t appear for a full two months after demanding the Traci story end. Then he announced a big new Cane story was coming and was all excited about it yet next thing you know he was fired. I believe TPTB let Goddard film his final scenes without telling him that was it LOL.

Hence why I take Boaz’s IG post with a grain of salt in a way.

Exactly my point. They probably just told him what they wanted to let him down easy.

The DG case proves that.

I'm perusing Twitter right now and the responses are hilarious.

LOL!!! I was just about to say that it sounds like he did to DB what they did to DG.

Coincidence?

Twitter makes it sound like he's getting a Cane vanishing scene. So...*shrugs* I mean, I wasn't watching then, but did Cane just...vanish?

I wonder who he ticked off to get fired like this? that God-awful haircut was the best thing about him to me, because his acting looked like he was always tipsy drunk. or he just woke up.

Yes

His last scenes already aired in Canada on  Friday

Then yep. No love lost there between him in the PTB.

He was miscast for the role, but honestly if they are not bringing Gaston back, it's a shame that once again the show proves they can't write for any legacy characters that are not Abbotts and Newmans...

I'm convinced Josh Griffith has no [!@#$%^&*] clue what to do w/ ANY character on Y&R.
