This was how I, and probably most of my generation, were introduced to Daniel Cosgrove

Kristian Alfonso (and her hair) were STUNNING in that "Full House" clip.  She also looked hella good when she guest-starred on an episode of "Who's the Boss?" as someone from Tony's old neighborhood.

For some reason, I can't see Susan Flannery being so helpless in the face of that fire.  But, then again, I did spend years watching her practically sumo-wrestle the entire B&B cast.

I wish Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker had made a Towering Inferno parody...I could so imagine Susan Flannery’s character doing a triple backflip out the window to circus music, with a slide whistle marking her plunge.

Josh Ryan Evans had a short term recurring role on 7th Heaven:

I was trying to find clips of John Ingle as the school principal in Heathers but can’t find them now, he was hilarious in that.

You could always tell Lucci loved doing  those TV movies. Playing Erica Kane is amazing, but I’m sure she loved the break to play other characters.

I am sure most are grateful for the check, but I am also sure it can be creatively stifling for a lot of soap actors who are locked into their soap roles for a long time without the chance of getting to play other roles. Not everyone is a Lucci, Braeden, or Deidre Hall and lucky enough to get those stead non-daytime roles at the height of their soap careers.

Her best ones, IMO, were "The Bride in Black" (a rare opportunity to see SL in a story penned by Claire Labine), "Lady Mobster" and "Mafia Princess."  The storytelling in all three was very strong.

"The Woman Who Sinned" was...okay; good, in a campy sort of way.  Same goes for "French Silk."  "Double Edge," however, was soooooo lethargic.

Truly, what makes her TV movies so special is the fact that she can display chemistry with so many men: not just all the men she was paired with on AMC, but also David Soul, Roscoe Born, Lee Horsley, Robert Urich, etc.  In fact, I still get chills when I think about when she co-hosted the Daytime Emmys with Drake Hogestyn (John, DAYS).  It's insane those two have never worked together anywhere else.

    • Brooke did ads before ATWT too. That probably helped get her the job. After ATWT she seemed to branch more into hosting, along with ads.  I think I saw Kelley in an ad or two, but you're right she wasn't on as much.
    •   Thanks for sharing these. I wonder if Charles might have been in the running for Adam. I know Preacher was a bit of a bad boy at times on EON, but Neal seemed to be a step down, and Robert Lupone had played a similar part on AMC. Given the huge cast turnover at this point I wonder who thought they had been there long enough to go.  Laura Malone/Chris Rich would get a remote within the next year.
    • Interesting.  It seems to allude to that statement that Warren Burton made around that time about some AW actors getting special treatment.  I wonder who was resentful about not getting to go.
    • Good morning, boys!  I figured that it was time that our Gio was introduced into the hotness thread

@ranger1rg I even included a close up of his face for ya!
    • Under all of Madonna's social media today there is this wave of negative, toxic, absurd comments by Lady Gaga fans telling her how Gaga surpassed her in concert in Copacabana. I mean... Who the hell cares? Why are these fan communities so freaking toxic??? I'm sure Madonna doesn't care... But still. Have some respect for M. Leave her social media alone. Go cheer Gaga and be happy. Why come and spew hate on M??? Crazy world.
    • FYI, again, Ruth/Letitia is not in either of these 2 episodes. So that concludes the 4 episodes I had from Nov. 1983. I don't have the October episodes.
    • Eddie has begun uploading the 1990 episodes. I'm so happy about that. I was mindfully taking a break till there's plenty of episodes I can binge watch when I feel like it. Now that 1989 is complete... I can't wait to press play on February 1989 and resume where I left off.

Me when someone asks me to be proper and demure.
    • This is just a guess but I feel like the fact that they keep mentioning her dead husband is for a reason. We know Martin has a secret that likely involved someone dying. Martin's victim could be Alan which Leslie/Dana either knows about or finds out and she uses that to blackmail the family into letting her crimes slide.
    • Just thinking how the Ruth/Leticia guest spot really cemented how Days had changed. Stunt casting with a campy/comedy character in a 'wacky' storyline was something that a few years previously would have been completely out of place on Days (and most other soaps for that matter).
