The fact that people like Jane and Genie are capable of still pulling off high caliber work with the constraints daytime productions have now is pretty incredible.  Jane isn’t even regularly acting.

I imagine the scenes around Luke telling Laura about Lucky and the fire had the luxury of time to perfect, even if back then it felt rushed for TG and GF. Now she has to work herself up to Laura’s pain and hit it out of the park in zero time at all, and she doesn't have Tony or the Luke relationship to help her get there.  I like Jon Lindstrom but he was mostly just standing there in the shows I saw.  DZ, Jane and Genie brought the emotion.

And I buy Ava is capable of anything, because that is the character.  Her motivations often make no sense because she is crazy.

For all of GH's many faults. It's become somewhat watchable. The mystery with the long dead David Hamilton has me interested. I'm loving the use of Laura's past. It feels soapy. Things are happening.  Even Kelly Monaco has finally woken up. And is actually acting. Instead of sleep walking through her scenes. I usually have disdain and indifference towards GH. And just hate watch it out of habit. I hope the slight increase in quality continues. But Frank will sabotage things soon enough.

Same thing happened at this time last year. It was good from like October to March, then it got messy again.

I'm liking the show right now too. And I hope they really play up this Sam going against the mob life storyline. It has massive potential and its a very realistic reaction to the bombing. That consistency is sometimes missing on GH

Genie Francis has been bringing it. She's fantastic. I'm glad she's reminding everyone of it

Kelly Monaco is checked in again which is nice.

Carly was in Snarly form today with Taggert. Lord, lol.

Today's episode wasn't bad. I like the use of history.

    • Slower day, but not bad. I thought Tomas was at his personal best today, flirting with Kat at Uptown.  Hayley is pregnant!  Oh boy... Samantha felt more like the babysitter today vs. the young sister. I'm ready to meet Sharon. I want a strong dynamic so it's not a repeat of what we just saw with Tracy's reunion.
    • They've been on same day for three episodes, which is a good thing because the days flowed weird to me before.
    • I see both Lois and BLQs sides re Gio BLQ wanted her son to be happy. Lois wanted to make sure it happened, so she gave him to family. Selfish?  Yes, but I get it Gio was raised by a loving mother and extended family. Lois followed BLQ wishes Great acting by AS & RS

date: Tuesday, May 27 | Christopher Dunn, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford I feel bad for Chelsea; she's exploring her feelings, and they're getting [unintentionally] hurt. But I love the support that Katherine has for her cousin. Bradley, you deserve one hundred times better than Deadbeat. So much more. Anita essentially tossing Tracy out... whew. She's done. DONE. Ouch... Chelsea hit the nerve with Katherine. How interesting... I feel like Tracy is becoming the mirror Anita has been avoiding while being a Dupree. What are these top secret things she's harbouring? I really hope Jessica's interest in Tyrell is genuine, because if it isn't, it might just destroy him. Back alley meetings? Your family? As if Bradley is not part of your family... Deadbeat, sit your ass down. Hey, Childbride, lower your damn voice. You're in the country club, not the country field where your ass belongs. And oh God, she's knocked up. Whew... here we go! Dante Greene, what control did this man have? But I appreciate that Anita and Tracy are uniting together; I pray that Sharon joins them soon. I love how easy Katherine and Tomas are with each other; it's smooth, it's natural and it's blooming in all the right ways. Hayley is about to battle the Dupree women for all she's worth. I am calling it right now. The unwavering support Vernon continues to provide to Anita is paramount; I adore them as the couple they are. Notes: Mike Manning (Bradley) continues to show up time and time again in scenes with Brandon Claybon (Deadbeat), who brings nothing to the table. There is an extreme lack of romantic chemistry between them. I'm wondering how different Dante Greene is going to be in comparison to Berry Gordy Jnr; we know the true history of Diana Ross and the Supremes, but how different will it be with Anita Williams and the Articulettes?
    • This episode is beyond excellent Could have waited on tge Trina Kai scenes  but regardless  great soap
    • Haha same! I didn't like her in the beginning, but over time, I've really grown to love to hate her as a villain.  I can't wait to listen to today's new episode later tonight! I've been waiting for the mom and dad (Crystal/Vincent) to have an interaction, so I'm happy to hear it's today.
    • I've always really been enjoying the show. It's very well produced and has so many soap stars in it. I was just listening to ep 7 on YoutTube and can say I'm hooked. There was an intense scene with Crystal Chappell and Vincent Irizarry about halfway through that was GOOD! Is it bad I kind of like Mina? I know she's supposed to be the main villian
    • This isn't a bad episode, but I'm finding myself not as engaged. Must be the lack of Eva and Leslie. No Nicole, Dani.
    • Yes!! I didn't realize it before, and had a busy weekend, so wasn't here much

Wow, what happened to AMC this week? Crashing from 8.4 to 6.6.. I mean, I know they used to go up and down much more than they do today, but this seems like a harsh drop (from 7th to 13th). And nice to see Y&R's first weeks
