Frankly, I don't think Cady McClain ever belonged on a show like Y&R -- and I say that as someone who is a fan.  Peter Bergman lucked out, but in general, I find ABCD actors don't mesh well with the Bell/Y&R aesthetic.

 

Jane Elliot: Tracy (GH), Carrie (GL), Anjelica (DAYS) and Cynthia (AMC).  Am I missing any?

Cady was a stopgap for Cynthia Watros on Y&R, who was very good on the show in an underwritten role (who I suspect would've originally been revealed to be Delia's real killer, given the affair with Billy Miller's Billy). But Cady always stuck out like a sore thumb and it didn't work at all, and her final months under Pratt were particularly embarrassing to watch. Psycho is not her forte. To this day I have no idea if Jack or someone else killed her character.
