My ex, a doctor in NYC who's been working in the COVID/trauma ward for the bulk of the pandemic, has it. He's slightly older than me and has preexisting conditions. I'm just hoping for the best. It's nowhere near what others have lost or suffered, but I do worry about him.

I'm sorry to hear this @Vee I wish him the best. The must frustrating part of all of this is that it didn't have to be this bad. Instead of listening to our healthcare professions we have put them in jeopardy.

Woke up to find that my sister tested positive.

A little all over my feelings.

Trying to keep focus as best I can.

Sorry to hear about your sister, @Taoboi.  I'll be praying for you and your family.

@Khan and @victoria foxton thank you. I am hoping that since my mother...preexisting condition and all...kicked Covid's A$$, my sister who has my mom's sass...will be okay as well. But she's been having a year this year already so...le sigh. Hating on the Orange One very much today.

Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. :)

...and an update. The vicar does in fact have covid, and the church will be closed this weekend and next. Personally, I think it will be closed indefinitely, seeing how bad things are all across the board. We'll see.

Now, the vicar's wife (who is pregnant) has tested positive. The daughter of one of our pastors (who lives in another state) also has it. I can only hope and pray that the people of my church - especially the pastors - are learning their lesson from not wearing masks and not keeping their distance.

@Vee and @Taoboi, all prayers and kind thoughts to your loved ones. Please keep us posted. 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that. Will keep your family in my thought.

These people are despicable.
