I liked the costumes. But it was weird. That a Halloween party. Had no Halloween music. As always everything on GH feels flat and boring.

It really was flat for a supposed Halloween party. No energy at all.  And Nina is now more annoying than ever. Honestly, I think Cynthia Wattros is worse than Stafford in the role.

People often don't look their age. I better NOT hear one person complain that he doesn't look old enough if you liked Jamie Luner as Liza on AMC given she was LITERALLY too young for the role LOL

That's what happens when you focus on all the wrong people like Valentin, boring Michael, boring Sasha, boring Willow, boring but hot Chase, annoying Nina ... it falls flat because we don't care about any of them. I cared about Michael circa 2014-2015 when he hated Sonny but now he's back to ass licker because Mo hated it.

 

Best thing about the episode was Ava/Nikolas in the last minute (and the nice quick build up, but YMMV) and Josslyn/Cam finally being slightly interesting by getting drunk.

lol he's not wrong. I usually agree with Alan on most things. Not everything (he throws some random [!@#$%^&*] out there for storyline and weird couplings) but he makes me laugh.

 

From that, I see the Tyler Christopher stans are out in full force trying to come up with all the reasons why this recast is a fail before he even begins speaking on-screen. Lord.

I don't need Laura to have a 50 year old son, so I'm just fine with a recast that is actually age appropriate and can look younger (like the recast of Adam on Y&R, correcting the fact they aged him waaaaaay too much). I'm good. Now he needs to be able to act.

 

I'd get the bitching if say, Josh Swickard was playing a 20-something Lucky instead of Chase (and in reality, Chase should be Lucky, we didn't need Finn to have a brother, but I digress ...).

I don't at all mind that Nikolas was recast. Putting Tyler Christopher's rumoured issues aside, on-screen he has given lazy performances for years. I was one of the two people in the world who watched SOUTH BEACH, where this new guy was a lead. He was hot on that show, and that's about all I remember about it. Hope he's a good (and talented) fit.
