These diva stories are hilarious. I would love to have seen some these people go head to head with each other.

Imagine a showdown with:

Larry Hagman and George Peppard

Melody Thomas Scott and Deidre Hall

Susan Flannery and Mary Stuart

etc...

That’s a wonderful thread idea...

MTS all but said in an interview a few years back that she knew no one on set liked her and she doesn't give a crap.

ROTF! Have to love that!

Eric Braeden

Melody Thomas Scott

Michelle Stafford

Larry Hagman

Joan Collins

Jane Wyman

I want to say maybe Erik Estrada( when he did that Telemundo soap). He has been a Diva since his Chips days. Larry Wilcox was pretty much forced off the show by the last season. Estrada also got rid of several other cast member he felt were a threat to his popularity.

Brenda Dickson vs. Farah Fath

Eric Braeden vs. Larry Hagman

Joan Collins vs. Melody Thomas Scott

Michelle Stafford vs. Carolyn Hinsey

Jane Wyman vs. Debbi Morgan

How's that for a start?

I remember reading rumors that Jane Wyman would often get people fired that bugged her.

Well, we know how that's why Lana Turner's stint on FALCON CREST got cut short.

I think I remember a rumor that they had a showdown one day on whose trailer was bigger!

It's true.  Just as it's true that one (Robert Foxworth, I think) had it put in his contract that he could direct episodes of the show after learning the other (Jane Wyman) had it in theirs.  (Or, do I have it the other way around, and it was Jane Wyman who had it put into her contract after Foxworth?  I can't remember which.)

To this day, I remain in awe not just of Barbara Stanwyck's talent, but her professionalism as well.  By all accounts, she was on a first-name basis with the crews on every one of her movies and TV shows; and never once did she suffer those who came unprepared.

Although she did say The Colbys was shitt and that's why she left the show. Didn't she call the show a pile of dog or cow poop?

Yabbut is it true that Barbara Stanwyck was gay? Not that she shouldn't have been if it made her happy! She was SO talented!

It was Jane Wyman who demanded (and got) a director's salary every time Robert Foxworth got to direct an episode. That set must have been a ton of fun. 😳

Agreed about Barbara Stanwyck. I know she was on The Colbys, but I wish she would have turned up on Dynasty for a scene with Linda Evans (who had played her daughter on The Big Valley).

They were so good together on The Big Valley!

She did.  However, her opinion of the show's quality never affected (AFAIK) how she treated its' cast or crew.  She just quit the first chance she got, lol.

What the [!@#$%^&*] does her sexuality have to do with anything!?  And why are YOU, of ALL people, making even a small deal out of it, when we know all about your relationship with Melissa Scardaville?

Just go fuq yourself, Donna.  Seriously.

@slick jones is right: when you have @amybrickwallace complaining about the state of things here, you KNOW something needs to be done!
