Just riveting, wasn't it?

If I can pick one good thing it was Mac and Robert sharing scenes (nice they finally remembered they're brothers), but unfortunately it was over this dumb [!@#$%^&*]. But it shows how easy it is to include Mac and Felicia ...

The school [!@#$%^&*] was clearly to fill Willow, Nina and Franco's guarantees ... lawd and then you had Julian filling his guarantee ...

JUST DUMP THEM ALL!

And of course Nina made the big speech at the school meeting. While Liz sat mute through most of it (she chimed in at times ...)

The blatant favoritism of pets is clear. I truly cringe when I see Franco and Roger Howarth cross my screen. I never liked him as Paul on ATWT either ... I just don't get the appeal. He checked out years and years ago. He acts like he's on a sitcom.

And let's not get started on the sexless pairing of Maxie and Peter and how Laura and Curtis had to prop them today.

LAWD

I like Chase and Finn I suppose. How sad it's resorted to that?

Awful episode.

Bright spots: Robert interacting with Mac and Felicia.

                       : Julian getting arrested.

                        : Laura/Curtis friendship/ teaming up.

ValenVarni don't disappoint. Oscar's contract is in the out box and we have  no less than nine dayplayers in one day

        Mr. and Mrs. Taylor

        2 other parents

        Principal Schultz

        Photographer (Kevin, Ava, Julian)

        2 Cops "                                           "

April Tremblay who is obviously hiding Ryan.

They bust a nut on dayplayers whenever a contract player leaves.

Ninny, Wallow and Frankles all in one room is FF material.

This stupid Finn's ring story isn't funny, it's stupid.

lol at how true it is they bring in the dayplayers when a contract cast member leaves, lol. I guess Stitt's contract was enough for them and getting back Budig (who's back for how long? does anyone know?)

I edited my previous post to add my thoughts ...

But Nina, Peter, Franco, Julian are all FFwd for me. And then you have the dumbass ring plot which is a sad waste of Mac, Felicia, Robert and Anna. But it was nice to see Robert and Mac interacting as well as Felicia and Anna.

I also like Laura and Curtis working together

but man were they wasted propping Maxie and Peter today ...

Maxie needs more scenes with Chet, where Storms naturally plays off her co-star. Laura telling Maxie to make the first move stunk.

Chase is all right, but they could trade Finn out for Steven Lars or Matt Hunter and ship Anna with Robert.   Hayden could come back and lead Finn off with her kid. Finn wouldn't  be noticeably gone.    (How about some interns for TJ/Molly to interact with?)

Any scenes with Nina/Franko/Valentin are garbage.

Michael and Sasha have my attention.

Catching up on the last two weeks.

I love Laura’s scenes with Curtis and Robert, and Anna deciding that Peter is not her son.

Seeing Lucy this much also makes me happy.

You know what pisses me off though?  Jax is back and the first scene establishes he is always in contact with Jossalyn, every night.  If this was a woman, say Felicia or Laura, the story is somewhat about how they just abandoned their families (by choice or health reasons).

    • lol Cass and Donna went on a bowling date!
    • As well as insulting our host, being rude to members who correct you, and having an inflated sense of duty. While others may be able to add numerous offenses, the egocentrism to force any conversation off-topic to focus on you is the most egregious act for me.  This is light entertainment, an interactive discussion, not the shallotpeel-hour.
    • Yes, that is why. I mean, not last minute but it was not what Shapiro originally wanted. First, she tried to buy the show. Then she tried to buy the character. Meanwhile several other companies also tried to buy the show.
    • I thought I had stopped & then I saw this post from you. To be clear I said I was wrong. I have not made an attempt at any backpedaling. There is literally no place to back pedal to. I did 3 things. I deleted. i apologized. I said I was wrong, egregiously so.
    • I think bringing Dano back to OLTL as her original character Gretel/Rae was a last minute thing because P & G wouldn't let ABC use the Felicia character. So even though she had ties to OLTL from back in the day, she just didn't fit into the OLTL of the late 90s/early 00s.. nor did she really fit into the other soaps at ABC either.
    • I don't think they were the biggest factor, but I do think there's a specific style to Dano's work that wasn't helped by how pointless her character often felt (and later on the various writers clearly saw the character as a joke).
    • I think Evie came in mid 1976 after Rita broke up with Tim because she realized she was leading him on.  And Evie became upset with Rita because she didn't tell her that she had previously dated Tim before she came to town.
    • Please stop, you were wrong, and you know it, now you're trying to back pedal. You even got called out by the DAYS actors/actresses on Twitter for that sh*t. It was disgusting and vile and IMO the family should have taken action against you It was clear the general public did not know about his illness and it was NOT your place to "spill the beans" just because you run a Facebook group, period! TBH IMO @Errol should have banned you ages ago Donna
    • Who went bowling? JFP & Anna? Is there any more to this?
    • Another character driven show with interconnecting plots that make sense. I like that we go from one character, like Sarah, learning that EJ wants to buy the hospital, casually mentioning it to Xander who now has that intel. The only down today was not seeing Steve and Shawn breaking into the lab. I wonder if Dr Poofy Hair will inform EJ about Xander's call. I loved Abe talking to Chanel about losing Isaac and giving her comfort. And helping her voice her fears about Johnny. Kayla standing up to EJ is great. Kayla, freed from Ron, has been great. I am loving all her air time. And Sarah telling her that EJ must be up to something if he wants the hospital is very smart. She would probably clue in to the sepsis research being the big thing if she wasn't choking to death. I assume Felicity messed up the scones and dropped in cleaning fluid or something. Sarah said it tasted weird. They are never getting that honeymoon, are they? Xander has no clue what job Johnny can do. Johnny knows this too. Xander wants to legitimize his takeover by hiring a Dimera. Johnny wants to stick it to EJ. The honesty is refreshing. I want to like Cat and Chad but they are just so awkward. And none of their scenes work for me. Marlena and EJ was very good. I like her wanting to help him but also scared to death for Belle. Makes perfect sense that she is conflicted. I also liked her softly asking Johnny if he needed her to stay once EJ walked in. Ron never cared about this relationship either, but now she is acting like his granny.
