@rlj, Of course she will!  On GH, MS plays a horrible character COMPLETELY UNPOPULAR with a fake history no one cares about.  On YR, she more than likely negotiated lead, more eppies than GH gives her and the #1 show on Daytime that's not in jeopardy of being canceled.  On YR's worst day, its probably still  100,000 xs better than GH!

But anyway - shows what a hypocrite Stafford is and is just doing this for the money. She explicitly said when she left she would never return. I agree they need to reign her in and she needs to do her damn job regardless if she likes her story or not. That was hard for her at the end of her last stint.

 

GT gave her all and I am sorry she got screwed over for a Stafford revival, but oh well...

GT's Phyllis was watchable.

Accurate!  So I'm guessing Staff will return a bit more humble because Gina gained a following as Phyllis, so while Staff may have had leverage with GH, she doesn't have that much with YR.  She just makes sense in the role and now her son can return.  

GT won an Emmy and developed a following as Phyllis. She has nothing to be ashamed of.

 

Stafford was a total bomb at GH and is now running back to her only successful role after saying she would never return.

 

 

YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! I've never watched Y&R, but Stafford/Nina has to be one of the most annoying, obnoxious people I've ever watched on a soap. Can't stand her acting or the character. I literally cringe every time I turn on GH and see that she's on. BYE!.

“Phyllis” is trending on Twitter right now, so this is the most seismic soap casting change in a while.

 

Seeing more folks dismayed with GT leaving than celebrating MS’s return.

I'm surprised at this news. But I think that this happened because Josh wants to put Phyllis back with Jack. There is an upcoming spoiler that says that Jack and Phyllis will reconnect. Maybe Josh wants to put them back together but would rather have Stafford in the role.

 

I don't really like either version of Phyllis, but I think that Michelle's is more unlikeable than Gina's version. I do wish Gina the best, and wonder where she will end up landing next. 

 

I wonder what other big moves we will see happen next.
