They did themselves a HUGE favor by not inviting Meghan McCain back (no one will ever convince me that she wasn't fired). The media always says a Republican has a mandate when they win, but when Dems do it it's 'can they heal the country? this isn't a mandate!' He is just like The Count. He just loves all the numbers, percentages, odds, etc. I enjoy watching him. Their alumni are largely reared by conservative groups/clubs from school to career and most of their contacts are the 'sane, sober fiscal conservative' GOP. The reason they carry water for the GOP at all times and try to act like another version of the party exists is because, as has been enumerated by other critics in the past, the Beltway pundits prefer to believe the supposedly 'sensible' Republicans they know in DC as friends and colleagues are the real base of the party vs. the racist, deranged base that actually exists and holds majority office today. 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
