It's that time again. James Carville, perpetually desperate for attention and not phased by damage done by his blathering and nonsense in both 2018 and 2020, is again being pushed by the Beltway to demoralize Democrats.

Having trended this AM for his arrogance, Nate continues to have a real one:

 

 

 

A decent piece in some ways, though I'm not really sympathetic to the author's "surprise" or the toxic voices he turns to searching for answers.

Nate Silver always has to say things in the most hyperbolic ways, and back that up again and again from insecurity or need of attention, then he and his fans get very mad when he's called out. There was a great deal of pushback against people who pointed out his lack of expertise - oh, the experts aren't flawless, oh, they don't know how real people react while Nate does. There's no evidence that he knows how anyone outside of his bubble acts. There are so many rich, out of touch people (yes, often white men) on social media who cosplay as "just folks," and use that to evade any actual reckoning for their constant meddling and narcissism. The pouting is, as a few people have mentioned, Greenwald-esque.
