LOL much better. Thank you!

I see Freddie has indeed moved my way. LOL. Not sure why people love to come to Florida. We are a hot mess. I'd rather have Chandler  (slightly kidding; I like Freddie) but Georgia isn't far

Do we know what part of Florida Andy Kavovit is in? lol. What is it about Florida?

It's interesting. The only place in Florida I would want to live in is Miami Beach (which I did for several years) but I know A LOT of people would rather live anywhere in Florida EXCEPT FOR Miami Beach. To each their own.

I THINK, and I could be completely wrong about this, that Andy Kavovit said he lived in the Tampa area. He said during his interview but it wasn't clear because someone was talking over him (probably Alan). I think that's what I heard but, like I said, I could be completely wrong.

Chandler Massey what a hunk. I should move to Georgia.

I'm Ray Charles singing and playing the piano and Chandler on the piano shirtless.

And I was crucified for Chandler.

Colleen was thrilled to learn he was in Florida since she lives there too and asked Andrew where and Alan cut him off.

You have good ears because Alan was cutting him off as he said where.

Notoriously, I have the worst gaydar in the world, but did anyone else just learn that Keith Hamilton Cobb (AMC Noah) came out ten years ago?

EDIT

@Faulkner 's comment made me look further into the story and the info appears to be false from the actor himself - so I guess my gaydar isn't as far off as I thought - moral of the story, don't believe everything you see on Tiktok

and from his own blog

http://keithhamiltoncobb.com/site/arrogance-ignorance-and-a-little-innocence-and-reports-of-ones-homosexuality-can-end-up-being-greatly-exaggerated/

Then, a number of emails arrived from young gay men expressing their gratitude for the example I set for them in their lives.  Further investigation revealed that this “article” had metastasized, finding its way onto gay blogs and chat rooms across the net, and even onto Wikipedia!  The young men related stories about their hesitance to make public declarations of their sexuality for fear of being ostracized by family, or society at large, etc.  Because I had ostensibly “come out,” I was now a role model to them of some sort, and they were grateful for the example I had set.  Holy [!@#$%^&*]!  I didn’t know what to say.

But if you’ve made it to the end, here is something that you might like to know about me.  It’s not the sort of thing that IMDb might offer up without my permission, or, say, some poor, repressed soul with a busy mind and too much time on his/her hands might fantasize about.  But it is a thing directly, completely, truthfully from me, because I’d like you to know:

I’m just an actor.

I remember KHC did a stint on Noah’s Arc, but he’s denied being gay.

Unless he’s comes out more recently (this interview is from a few years ago), he denies it around 12:20 of this video:

    • Pam Long wrote the show for a very short period at the end although it's been reported that she was submitting story ideas for a while, I believe she's only credited as head writer for the last 8 weeks or so. After the Corringtons (Aug 80- to Feb 81) Paul hired Dorthea Ann Purser and Sam Ratcliffe (March 2 81 to Nov 6 81). There was a writers' strike from May to July 81 during which time it's been speculated that Rauch hired Gerald Flesher and Paul Rader to write. They later replaced Purser/Ratcliffe as of Nov 9 1981 when Kobe took over as EP. Paul is credited as head writer at least through October 4, 1982. On YouTube I found an episode from Oct 22, 1982 and Pam is credited.  Flesher was fired and out after June 11 1982 episode. I believe Gary Tomlin and Linda Hamner were co heads with Paul through Sept or so then Linda was moved back to scripts/breakdowns (or was fired) and Carolyn Culliton got the third co head writer slot all until Pam was named sole head.
    • Huge kudos to the production team and the writers - we truly got to witness some beautiful and heartfelt moments between John’s extended family. DAYS really pulled off a touching and fitting goodbye for both Bill Hayes (Doug) and Drake Hogestyn (John). You could feel the love and respect for Drake throughout. He came across as a real “super dad,” deeply loved by so many. And Deidre... wow. So strong, holding it all together - she deserves her own standing ovation. A few thoughts that came to mind… I wish we got a short scene of Roman sitting with John - just to thank him for looking after his kids all those years (Carrie, Sami, Eric), and to acknowledge that John and Marlena truly belonged together. It would’ve been such a meaningful moment of closure. I kept hoping Kristen would sneak into John’s room to say goodbye - maybe apologize for all the pain she caused, and tell him she really did (or does) love him. But I get it - it wouldn’t be the same without Eileen Davidson. Still, how incredible would it be if Eileen came back for a few episodes and we got some classic flashbacks? And Sami. Where is Sami?! A goodbye scene between her and John felt essential - with her finally thanking him, and apologizing for all the heartache between them. So much history there. Really hoping we’ll see all of John’s kids and grandkids at his memorial - and also Maggie and Julie. Marlena could really use the support of those who’ve known her the longest.

    • Is that scene from the horrendous Donna/Nick/Pam triangle the show tried at that time?

Some awkward vibes in the interview, although it was interesting to hear him talk about Knots Landing and also mention that he was writing a primetime project with Ken Corday (did that go anywhere?). He also mentions plans to leave again eventually for a primetime soap.
    • Great watch !  I'm reminded how far the show had moved away from the Ryans during this period…Not a trace of the Ryans.  This episode bares no resemblance to the original Ryan’s Hope. Traci Lin is much more compelling than I remember.  Wonder what she would have accomplished if she had stuck it out... Scott Holmes is much more appealing here than on ATWT.  His Tom Hughes was always kinda sour. Grant Show sure did come along way.  His biggest talent here is his chest. Cali Timmons Cali Timmons Cali Timmons…What a star !  I really enjoyed Maggie as the show's heroine.  I wish she had done more work after she left daytime.  But she found love on RH with Geoff Pierson -- that’s probably better than a career.
    • Well, natch....but I mean, they never got a love scene onscreen? I'm just surprised. Although I guess it took Beth and Lujack longer than I expected too.
