Yep.

I think I read an article before it came out that he assaulted a woman that his romantic life was stifled b/c he played Todd on Corrie. The article said he grew tired of people not being able to separate him from Todd.

That whole ordeal leaves me scatterbrained.

I use to love the way Lucinda/Liz Hubbard would say Ambrosssssssssssssss....you knew she loved working with him.

Are we sure about Lachalan? I've had the pleasure of talking to Lachlan on social media and he is a very nice guy besides being very good looking.

You’re right. I have noooo idea why he was one of the first to come to mind. Maybe I really do have a hard time separating him from his character.

Look, here’s my chance to do the same. I know for a fact that MLM was married with a daughter, but of course there could be more to the story.

Yeah, Mark LaMura would be a surprise, but, of course, you never know. I’m sure some of us have heard off-the-record stories from people in the industry about stars you’d never guess would be gay or have dabbled. But I just wouldn’t want to speculate here, especially if someone is living a publicly (and perhaps even somewhat genuine) heterosexual life.

This thread has really enlightened me.   I had no idea about either Dean Santoro or John Collenback (both of whom played Stewart brothers on As the World Turns).

I had long wondered about Robert Gentry (and Dennis Cooney).  I also have wondered about (these have not been named) Michael Lipton and Ron Tomme.

Two from Dark Shadows that I had wondered about were the late Craig Slocum and also Humbert Allen Astredo.  (I think that the latter's obituary listed a daughter.)

Two more actors who are my friends are together.  I will not name them.

James Coco (The Edge of Night) was gay.

I don't know his exact name, but the first actor who was cast as Kelly McGrath on The Edge of Night (Joey Phipps was his name, I think) was supposedly spotted in a gay bar and was released from the show based on the morals clause.

According to a bio about Dennis Parker, Parker helped get Joey Alan Phipps the role of Kelly on Edge. Parker and Phipps has been lovers at one point. Folks interviewed for the bio said Parker’s past in porn was well known on the set and that Phipps was fired simply because he was not a good fit for the role.

I had not heard of the Dennis Parker-Joey Alan Phipps connection before.   Thank you for sharing about it.

Porn star Jerry Butler (husband of Lisa Loring of As the World Turns) said that there was an actor who played Dr. Will Vernon on One Life to Live and that this actor promised him the role of Brad Vernon on the same show.   I cannot remember why Mr. Butler said he did not pursue this.   I am not sure if this actor was Farley Granger (#!1) or Anthony George (#3).

And, this does not have to do with homosexuality, but the porn star named John Seamon was on One Life to Live.  His name was listed in the closing credits.  I think I read that another pornographic actor also appeared at one point, but I cannot remember his name.

lol yes. I think everyone knows he plays for our team. He doesn't necessarily hide it and he shouldn't.

Did anyone mention Kevin Spirtas? Probably ... lol

Groff was another one I always knew was gay. It's so sad to feel like you have to hide who you are.

    • On that same note, it's astounding to have mobster Sonny in the same office with Mayor Laura chatting it up about their mutual grandson. Think about the reaction if John Gotti and Mayor Eric Adams had a friendship

?? I guess the Logic behind Sonny & Jason acceptance is like when i saw a documentary where FBI agents said they'd rather deal with the mafia than terrorists or cartels---they're the "lesser of 3 evils". Anyway I'm about 30 years late on this convo.
    • Im confused. Does Jessica know anything about June's relation to Tyrell? At the start of the episode, it seemed like June was gonna slip that he was her son but she caught herself but later in the episode she referred to him as "my boy" and Jessica had no reaction like that wasnt a surprise to her No, Anita was putting money in the account every 6 months but we werent told how much was in it when Leslie became a beneficiary. The show has set it up that it was multiplying based off the interest so that its really worth quite alot now. I dont buy it but thats what they've told us
    • What was the point in Lori's return as Mrs. Max Hollister? That little story never made much sense to me.  Were there plans for a permanent return? Or even a new family with her as the matriarch?
    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.
