I have it on good authority that "recurring" is just covering their asses so they don't have to say they fired Genie. Pretty sure Genie is not the type to agree to do recurring status either.

 

The timing of the #MeToo movement might end up saving her but I'm not getting my hopes up right now. I am certain I can't keep watching this trash pile.

Sadly I don't think Frank gives a crap, and probably convinced ABC this will save money. Honestly I think she deserves better and I said the same about Becky when they tried to fire her twice now.

 

 

On a show with two particular leading male characters (Frankles and Jillian) have so blatantly abused women yet are considered romantic leads, they let go of the one lead woman whose character doesn't bow down. FV and NV deserve whatever crap they get. No sympathy here, they've been decimating the show for too long.

They can give Easton what 4 roles on the show but can't keep Genie? WTF? This isn't going over the way Frank thought it would
