Eh I actually liked him as Chase and felt the whole story was stupid. So even if he's dumb and unprofessional at least I can sympathize with his criticism.  At this point who even cares anymore and didn't Vivian Jovanni just get fired? 

This is totally unprofessional. But i do love all the shade the kid threw at Days. I don't think bashing an irrelevant dying soap will hurt his career. Chase was a nice kid the dark turn he took was unnecessary. 

Well the writing was atrocious for most of 2015 and 2016.

It's not so much about bashing DAYS as it's about going in on that about a former employer. It doesn't really do much to make a struggling actor viable, especially with some of his past comments.

A very valid point  DRW50. 

I saw the video where he talked about raping Ciara. Cringeworthy stuff. He came across as entitled and obnoxious and immature.

 

Regardless of DAYS' sins, this idiot deserved to be fired if he displayed any of this attitude on set. Tweets like this will ensure he doesn't work again. That video of him made me despise him.

Paige Searcy  (ex Paige) iwas on Dishin Days  tonight

Seems she was the actress Jon McClendon was talking about

 

Paige did quit on her own. Days gave her a last day but Also booked the new Jade for that day. So paige didnt film but DOOL had to pay both actresses

 

Paige also said she tried to visit  the set but was refussed. She sent flowers and was allowed to visit but said it was not the same

He's been gone, she's finally gone...I liked McClendon when he started, but the story went where it did and he was let go. He should be out auditioning like the thousands of other guys his age rather than tapping away 140 characters of "waaaaaa" and get over it. He's not the first actor to lose his job, he won't be the last. As for Searcy, sucks the way it happened. I believe that was how Patsy Rahn found out Leslie Charleson(on GH in 77) was taking over, if I'm not mistaken.

I never understand why these young soap actors get on twitter and diss their former employers after they get fired. I've seen it multiple times over the last several years. And they always end up doing some backtracking too.

These young actors don't seem to understand the recurring status that they both had on the show.

Yes, its unprofessional...but if no one speaks up...how does one expect things to change behind the scenes.  Still...Days backstage was never a place of harmony...its been a battle ground backstage since rhe 70s/80s.

She wanted to leave and she was paid for her work. It's a lot more than some soap actors have experienced.
