Honestly they could bring Todd back to PC with Trevor st John in the role.

 

Hell effing NO! That person going by Todd was anything but, it's over and done and never to be revisited. I will say Ron did the right thing in the end undoing TSJ as that farce they called Todd

Leave OLTL & AMC dead. As others pointed out, Agnes is gone and I doubt anyone will be able to grasp her vision of both shows. 

 

Also, need I remind those who want a crossover how the Delia (of Ryan's Hope) crossover flopped?

I hate that Ron & Frank just threw Claire Labine & her creation under the bus by doing that

 

It would make sense only if Ava was the younger child but she is said to be older than Delia's son, Johnno

Plus Ron never knew who Delia was. He called her Dee but he was writing Roxy Balsom

Ron was writing Roxy, as John stated, that wasn't Delia. And I can't believe he was allowed to do that.

 

I don't want a supersoap. I don't want any AMC or OLTL refugee on GH whether I want the actor working or not.

 

Howarth and Easton STILL don't fit in. Both still feel incredibly forced. And Kiki remains a horribly defined, poorly acted character. Alderson would still be just as tragic.

I just want All My Children and its people to be respected for the 42 years of work they did and 42 years of entertainment they provided. If our soaps were allowed to live after death, then we wouldn't be desperate to see them "return" in the hands of people that we all know would completely and totally disappoint us on a near-daily basis.

Not true. She said that Prospect Park owed her money along with other actors, but she did not say that she never saw a cent from them.

Did ABC ever own Ryan's Hope?  That crossover--which I completely forgot about, was so badly done.  Ron, of course, also made a connection between GH and Loving, which ABC never did own (Nixon's company owned it and The City) and no one seemed to blink an eye, so...

Funny you mention All Her Children--I recently re-read it for a thesis paper I am writing comparing the reception to 1860s Victorian sensation novels and US daytime soap operas in the 1970s-80s

You may enjoy the Danny Hill Youtube channel - a lot of classic audio uploads, including some AW, AMC and OLTL.

I wouldnt mind The Q's & The Buchanans doing business together at ELQ  or even at GH. That way maybe Clint /Viki can come in once and a while. Maybe Bo can consult with Jordan on case. Small arcs but nothing that takes over GH like it did with Todd, Starr and McBain

Let the dead be!  Any attempt to resurrect either soap would be an abomination.  Spend the time, money and energy trying to get GH back to its origins.  Get rid of the the OLTL & Y&R leftovers on this show.
