Maybe Pratt will offer JFP a job as a co exec producer of Star. They are bosum buddies.

While SSM is OK, I'd imagine she's better than Pratt for Y&R (her history, but that doesn't always help; Kay Alden coming back with her with help tremendously) so buck up folks. It really could always get worse. At least Pratt is gone!

I can't imagine any of the women written worse than they were under JFP/Pratt.

I thought MAB YR as a whole was way worse then JFPs. Jill did win two emmys for best show as EP as Maria won none as EP

It cant get any worse when its been in the gutter for years now.  The whole Jack has a twin and Victor is behind it and allowing murders to happen was just the lowest this show could have gone. And you have PB applauding this mess. How sad!

Pratt plus Lee Daniels sounds like a nightmare. Neither one seems able to curb their worst impulses. Maybe it'll be better for him to write a show from the beginning instead of trying to take the reins from someone else. He screwed up "Twisted" just like he screwed up AMC.

Twisted already had its issues that needed to be fixed but it all went to hell when he took over.  I didnt care for The Lying Game either

Pratt never should have come back to daytime after Melrose Place ended in 1999. He is ill suited to the genre.

 

If Sally Sussman Morina is the selected HW I welcome that. I enjoyed SSM's stint at DAYS immensely and her years with Y&R will serve her well, at least that's what I hope. The truth is nobody will be Kay Alden and Sony/CBS should admit their mistake and ask her to return, even as just a consultant if she's too burned to come back.
