GH still dead last! 

I don't think there was a national pre-emption so there must've been regional pre-emptions somewhere.

I'm sure they will all bounce back for the Thanksgiving week. Shorter weeks usually give higher ratings

 

Some Canadian website is claiming ol' Frank has six months to fix the ratings or he's out, but GH supposedly wouldn't be. I don't buy that. They'll never find anyone cheaper than Frank. I think it's him or they cancel the whole thing.

 You can always find someone cheaper.  Just promote from within (they have 3 producers), who will be a first time EP, and they would already know Frank's "cost cutting" production style/schedule.

Also, whenever there's a big drop, there's usually a bounce back.  But Thanksgiving Eve is always a big travel day, so we'll see.

Going by his standards in recent years, I'd say look for any new hires who just got fired from Randy Blue.

People must be tuning out because the writing is so intelligent that it's going right over their heads. What a shame.

Mercer Barrows: Been with the show since the early 80's, working his way up. Though probably doesn't want the EP job since EPs get fired, and likes his steady job at GH. 

 

Michelle Henry: Came in as a producer at GH  in early 2000's. 

 

Mary Kelly Weir: Been a producer since the 90's at various soaps. 

 

 

It doesn't look that bad for DAYS. The show is still up on last year's numbers!

That's pretty much the only bright spot.
