How exactly does it work when a HW is fired? What I'm getting at is, somebody please tell me that Ronald (excitedly) had the rest of 2015 planned and ready for breakdowns and ABC is just like "man, throw sh!t away."

I had suspected this earlier in the week when Geary's interview came out and Carlivati's twitter was silent. He hasn't tweeted since last Thursday.

I'm sure he probably had a projection written and submitted, but I am sure Shelly/Jean will be given the choice to do alterations or start implementing their own stories or continue to let Ron's projection run out before starting their own arcs. Depends on the network.

IMO, they should just scrap all his mess and start fresh.

TV Line said they start August 10th, so I would guess their material would begin in September since they only tape a month or so in advance. It is easier to throw out scripts then say DAYS situation where they tape so far in advance. In this day and age with DAYS bare bones budget they couldn't retape over 130 episodes.

Yes.

Ron's only EP was Frank at both OLTL and GH. Frank's other HW regimes at OLTL were: Malone/Griffith part 2 and Higley.

Does it really matter anymore when a HW or EP is shown the old door? There's so much micromanaging going on and absolutely no one left who is good and is willing to put up with the crap. But, whatevs. Ron is free now to spend his days and nights writing Gary Ewing/Mack Mackenzie slash fiction. That should make him happy.

If they were smart, they'd get Kimberly McCullough back in to wrap that [!@#$%^&*] up on Monday.

I feel relatively confident I will no longer have to put up with a serial killer leading man, so in that particular instance, yes.

Too bad, so sad...Not thrilled about Jean and Shelley and all the hemming and hawing about Jean's "intellectual, smart " writing from "we all know who"

I do think our vets have a chance, as JP and SA utilized Traci on Y&R, as well as Jill, so we'll see.

Let the pink slip Parade begin....Stafford, Howarth,Easton,Erin,Devry,Tovar, Griiller, etc...<fingerz crossed>

Well I'm glad ReRon is out, please, no one else hire him. Frank still needs to go though too.

I was alright with Jean's Y&R so I will at least give her run here a chance, the show is such a mess I don't expect to stick around longer than a few weeks though.

    • I guess it depends on your device.  I can watch CW shows via their website on my Windows PC.
    • Ooooo A Liam episode? I'll watch it later today. They sure are churning the daily episodes out early.

    • Welcome back, Shawn Douglas! It's been a while. It really is too bad that the writers don't really have an interest in the character because there are still a lot of ways that he can be used effectively on the canvas. He should have been a part of the 60th anniversary celebrations as well. If anything, just to represent Bo and Hope. And I'd much rather see Jada paired with him than possibly with Theo. But I enjoyed him getting caught up with Belle, and comforting her. I'm sure they'll find their way back to each other at some point but I do like them as divorced friends. I just hope we see it play out onscreen. Belle being a dick about Sami again was unnecessary though. And we finally saw Liam again!  I'm curious to see how this storyline is going to play out, and who's going to be weaved into it. He and Abe do work well together too. And we learned that he has a kid. Hopefully, we'll learn more about his character in the future. But I'm not really sure about Johnny and Chanel suddenly having problems with raising Trey. They've wanted a baby for so long, so I don't understand why this is even an issue. They should know by now what it's like to raise a baby. But I did enjoy Johnny's scenes with EJ, and that Johnny still hasn't refused to forgive him. This storyline was/is very clunky, but having the two of them be at odds is the right decision. There's so much story potential that can be drawn from that. As for Chad... there was no time for us to see his reunion with Will, but there's time for us to see him talking BS with Leo? I don't get it. And I don't get all this random dating app stuff either. Leo and Javi were boring af too. If we're forced to endure them, can they at least have some real conflict? The two of them losing the baby was the perfect opportunity for it.

    • I enjoy BF better on Days than on YR.   Chad is greater than Cane, in my opinion.
    • Ick! Seeing MS and BF making out as the characters onscreen was just ewwww.
    • The SON board.
