September 2, 201510 yr Member Apparently, the show has not one but two writers' rooms (!!!). Cidre's soap was too "emotional"! ABC wants more OMG moments! Cidre languishing in second writers' room without much to do!!! Oh, the drama!
September 4, 201510 yr Member It's time to put these Dallas-type soaps to rest for a while. Possibly forever. The whole cowboy thing doesn't really have that type of chic these days - it's mostly just hanging around now as fetish material. And ABC doesn't know how to do drama anyway.
September 4, 201510 yr Member Re: the article in question, I couldn't see if it's been linked, so here. I was so hoping for another Jamey Giddens meltdown over Cidre's ousting; I know he was over the moon when the show first got greenlit. So far, nothing as far as I can tell. It's the little things that get me through some workdays.
September 5, 201510 yr Member Nothing screams Empire like Chace Crawford and Don Johnson. Exactly...they make ME think Cookie/ Lucius/ Lyons ...LOL

And the oil boom in North Dakota is taking a decline in production anyway. Plus the overly male driven soap opera doesnt work anymore. Let' be honest Empire would've flopped if people hadn't been tuning in for Cookie.
September 15, 201510 yr Member http://www.medialifemagazine.com/blood-oil-winsome-skulduggery/ I am going to give a try. Hopefully it will be half way good…LOL
September 21, 201510 yr Member JOsh Henderson was throwing shade toward this show due to it being like Dallas
September 21, 201510 yr Member Why would Mr. Melting Face care? It's not like that flop remake of Dallas had any originality in it.
September 21, 201510 yr Member Did he have to get up on a stepstool to get the reporters' attention????
September 28, 201510 yr Member I found it mostly boring and like Ive seen it all before. And 2 car crashes in 1 episode. Chuck Pratt eat your heart out.
September 28, 201510 yr Member I thought it was ok, but there is no way I'm believing that kid and his wife made a million dollars in the course of one episode. Where is the struggle in that? I'll probably watch the next episode if it's not marked for cancel by TV by the Numbers. I'm not excited about it though.
