Good for them; any true fan probably loves this. I know I'd love it if one of the shows from my childhood had a chance like this. That said, I won't be watching since I never could get through an episode of the show without switching to another channel.

He was the face of the whole thing. My parents told me all about they saw him on Jimmy Kimmel and he said everyone would be back but the Olsen twins, and they were looking forward to seeing them again.

Now it turns out a bunch of them haven't even been contacted?

It's tacky as hell - not that I expected much better...

Candice Cameron is on it that pretty much messes it up…I hated seeing her on The View…everyone seemed like they were on egg shells making sure they didn't say something that might offend her.

I think that's just a misread, because according to what Loughlin told several news outlets (US Weekly, etc.), she, Coulier, etc. are all already in negotiations with Netflix. She's not saying she was never contacted, what she's saying is that she's not got a deal yet. She's making it very clear she won't return unless there is financial parity, which is fair IMO.

For those of you who don't know, there is a blogger who had a website called Full House Reviewed, who reviewed/snarked on every single episode of the show. It took him 4 years before he finished last year. I would laugh my ass off every time I read it, and I'm someone who can still enjoy some of the show today (a lot of the show also makes me cringe now, though). He will be back to review/snark on Fuller House:

Here's the link to the original reviews. Trust me, for those of you who love a little Full House snark (so, almost all of you), you will NOT regret it.

More news from the edge of oblivion: Dave Coulier, the man Alanis Morissette went down on in a theater, is confirmed. Candace Cameron is also claiming Lori Loughlin is as well, I believe, but in the meantime let's just let Candace take us 'deeper" into the endless white hole of reality that is Fuller House with this new interview.

Meanwhile, I can't take Andy Cohen but the fact that Lori Loughlin somehow keeps a mostly straight face during this is hysterical.

Lori seems kinda embarrassed to me. I certainly wouldn't blame her. Because some people are way too into this thing. It's been twenty years, some people need to get with it!

Candace looks like almost a completely different person.

I'm glad Jodie Sweetin's doing better now. Too bad she's barely done any acting, of course that was in part because of the issues and what she's been through.

Ugh, Kimmy! I really did not miss that character. Andrea Barber was a decent actress but the character was beyond cartoonish. It stopped being cute after maybe a year.

John Stamos is so perfect.

    • Thanks. I'm glad we have some fan memories of these years as this is such a typically snide take on the genre. It's also poorly written and reminds me a great deal of the tedious "snark" recaps that became popular in the '90s. The end in particular. The 1979/80 stuff I have seen is much more polished than a number of soaps at the time. It was very easy to watch and not too bogged down in past story.  Margo is played by Ann Williams, who was on what seemed like every soap. I think she said Margo was her favorite role.
    • And the rating 'wars' continue...hehe.
    • Well, it was fun while it lasted for Rebecca Herbst. Le sigh.
    • I am wholeheartedly enjoying this show. I just haven't been able to post as much as I used to. But yes, this episode needs to be submitted for the EMMYs and there needs to be wins. I better NOT see Y&R, DAYS, or B&B winning in categories over BTG. I feel like the only show that is giving BTG an ounce of competition this season is GH.
    • I never thought the day would come, but too much MM for me.
    • I think it may be that the character was brought in for a specific purpose and then became popular with viewers, and the show didn't know how to respond.  The choice to pivot away from Simon/India may show that you are right and they didn't care for her...although pairing them up may be another sign they didn't care for her. I don't connect well with this period but it does make me happy seeing some of these characters before the great purge and some of the surprises - I'd forgotten the wonderful Maureen O'Sullivan popped up to be bumped off. So typical of soaps by this point, but it doesn't grate as much as later on when Y&R would bring on any random cast member from Small Wonder. I'm also amazed at this time at just how much money the show must have had. The costumes for the Founder's celebration in summer 1984, or whatever it was, looked gorgeous.
    • Which officially started to feel that way today with them hearing each other out as they confronted each other at the same time.    Same. He was even catching himself when he was about to go overboard or do those tics that people don't seem to like. He failed a bit at the end, but he carried. It makes me think about a month back when it was discussed that the actor was better in other things he's been in. And I questioned then if that meant that he was playing Martin more intentionally. I questioned that briefly again today because he was giving.
    • I really like the actress who plays Margo. Don't know  her name. I'm so hesitant to google anyone because I don't want to know the length they were on the show. I've watched two episodes and I have to say that the show does not feel as dated as other shows. I tried to watch Ryan's Hope a few weeks back and some of the acting was a bit rough. EON is a lot more natural which amuses me considering it's a mystery/thriller show.
    • She’s INCREDIBLE. I’m so glad you enjoyed this my friend.
