Members Soapsuds
Apparently all 4 soaps got nods not only for show but for directing and writing….
Members AllMyDaysatGH
I'm glad Ali Sweeney FINALLY got a nom after all these years! Would LOVE to see her win. What'd she submit?
Members Soapsuds
GH had the most nominations at 28…..I tell you the worst soap this year gets the most nods….shameful.

Members John
When I only see 4 soaps nominated this is when I wish someone with the money and the smarts would develop a new daily soap. Id be happy if it only ran six months out of the year and had hiatuses.
Members LoyaltoAMC
Does anyone know what Geary submitted? I can't think of one scene where he wasn't completely OTT. That whole lead actor category has more ham than a Christmas dinner table. Peggy McCay is the best actor among the ENTIRE list, but lead actress? Seriously? Members DaytimeFan
These nominations are an embarrassment. I'm rooting for Allison Sweeney, Donna Mills and Wendy Williams. That's it!
Members DRW50
This more than anything else tells you why these awards need to go. The worst acting lineup by far in a major category. To think we have gone from Zaslow and Canary and Bryggman to...this. I hope Freddie Smith wins. Otherwise I don't really care.
Members slick jones
Lead actor is a joke, right? TOMORROW IS APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!!!!!!!!!
Members DRW50
It used to be around in the late '80s for a few years. John Wesley Shipp won it for SB. I think with all the stunt casting in recent years it makes sense. I'm actually surprised they even thought of it.
