I'm glad Ali Sweeney FINALLY got a nom after all these years! Would LOVE to see her win. What'd she submit?

GH had the most nominations at 28…..I tell you the worst soap this year gets the most nods….shameful.

Y&R had 25 nominations…B&B 19 nominations and Days with 16 nominations

When I only see 4 soaps nominated this is when I wish someone with the money and the smarts would develop a new daily soap. Id be happy if it only ran six months out of the year and had hiatuses.

Does anyone know what Geary submitted? I can't think of one scene where he wasn't completely OTT. That whole lead actor category has more ham than a Christmas dinner table. Peggy McCay is the best actor among the ENTIRE list, but lead actress? Seriously?

These nominations are an embarrassment.

I'm rooting for Allison Sweeney, Donna Mills and Wendy Williams. That's it!

It used to be around in the late '80s for a few years. John Wesley Shipp won it for SB.

I think with all the stunt casting in recent years it makes sense. I'm actually surprised they even thought of it.
