Brandon looked rough and haggard at the end of his contract run on OLTL, and there were a lot of stories. He looked even worse in some fan pix at the old studio when he attempted to return for the final weeks of OLTL - he showed up at the studio set to tape in 2011, fans saw him, TPTB attempted to use him but sent him away and recast with Van Hughes. He sounded like he was doing much better in Jeff Giles's book, sounded very well-spoken and level-headed. I was impressed. So this is a sad turn of events.

What's sad is this is what happens when u hit rock bottom with drugs and alcohol. I heard he was coming to work high and drunk by the end of his run and they told him rehab or he was done. He chose to continue on his scary path. Hopefully he realizes that getting help is important before he's dead

I wouldn't call addiction a choice, per say.

We shouldn't be judging let's hope he gets help. Addiction is a scary thing look at the actor from Glee Cory Monteith he had 12 years sobriety relapsed and died. Also Phillip Seymour Hoffman had 22 years sober relapsed was found dead with a heroine overdose and with 50 bags of herion around him. It's all very sad

I don't think anybody was judging. I have a [!@#$%^&*] ton of addiction in my family. I know how serious it is. But thank you.

I'd drink too if Kiki could get work and I couldn't.
