I think it is just a fad as of late. Especially with the Hemsworth brothers leading the pack. Because with black movie roles, they are now casting British actors instead. Being international is hot at the moment.

Since casting Australian soap actors seems to the craze, makes me wonder when we'll see some UK soap actors cast on these US soaps

Films, sure, no big deal. Soaps, I've rarely seen it done where they hire some Brit or Aussie to play American.

ETA: actually, he's probably for Phyllis.

Eeeeeew. They better not. Phyllis was his step-mama when Kyle was a baby & she was married to Jack the first time. They fought (Phyllis, questionably) for custody of that child. I REALLY hope they don't go there. What are the chances they'd make it good, anyway?

Like most of the Kyle's, good or not, he probably won't last. I'm sure Ronald and Frank will have time to hire him at some point. LOL

I don't get why Bergman didn't like the Keemo storyline

Was it racism, afraid of having an adult son on the canvas at his age at the time, a terrible storyline, or all three?

I guess white boys in america doesn't want to act on TV. Since soaps want to save money. Do anybody think Aussie actors cost less?
