I see Tomlin trying to replace Sami with her. I think MA is very overated. She has serious eye roll when she acts and never been very impressed. She was popular on OLTL.

Is/was Melissa Archer really popular enough to warrant a promo like this?! They make it sound like she's a huge megastar. Now, if it was Robin Strasser or Erika Slezak who was joining DAYS I could understand it, but Melissa Archer....?

It's not like they have much else to promo.

That's actually low-key compared to some of the ones they did for Santa Barbara that had things like Robin Mattson saying, "I like hospitals in general, but..."

MA is nowhere near the league of Robin Strasser or Erika Slezak but she was on a show for ten years....and she has loads of fans. I can see why Days is trying to appeal to them. Days needs all the eyeballs it can get.

Besides...didn't Days do a promo for Kassie DePaiva joining? Why shouldn't MA get one too?

Can you really call it a return to daytime when the only reason she left was cause her show got cancelled?

Most of her acting has been on the web shows, so I guess she is.
