I don't even care about DT and I don't watch YR regularly, but I will NEVER forgive the way they treated him just so they could find a fit for that piece of driftwood! They should have killed the story and put an end to Villy for good! Then Billy would look like Ashley and Jack's BABY brother and Jill's son. DT and Jess' mother/son chem was second to none!

Agreed. They expected DT, an actor who thrives on playing vulnerability, to play a Billy Miller-esque frat boy, fire him, and then totally revamp the character into a generic leading man (nothing at all like Billy Miller) for Burgess.

Really just says it all about this show. Feels a little like the final years of ATWT.

I only watch Y&R when I'm off work, but have they always written Michael Baldwin *this* flamboyantly gay? When he was doing the yenta accent with Phyllis, I thought, the writers aren't even attempting to write this character as heterosexual.

Agree. They never really gave David Tom a chance. I thought he was pretty good in general and he had a love scene with AH that was one of the better ones the show has had lately. (Hilary and Devon make me want to puke! I will never be able to get behind this yucky couple.) This Billy is just so bland and monotone with his line delivery. He's the oatmeal of Billys, the grilled cheese sandwich of Billys. Okay once in a while but you wouldn't want a steady diet of it.

He should have told Phyllis his penis isn't working with Lauren anymore. Maybe then Phyllis could have told him what she's always suspected - that he's gay! Just a thought.

I've been warming up to her for a while. She's pretty! and fun to watch. She's one of those actresses who can make other actors and characters more interesting or tolerable, like Lily for example and I like her with Jack. IA she plays vulnerable well but she seems like she has some steel to her spine as well which will make the inevitable face off with Phyllis fun to watch. Hopefully.

Looks like Victoria got herself a new office. About time.
