I think it's added pressure now that Kelly has opened her own clothing store - Kelly's closet. She is selling beauty and she is the FACE. Add Dancing to the stars to the mix and you can understand why she felt she needed to do something to "rejuvenate" herself.

Katherine Kelly Lang looks FABULOUS! I don't give a fcuk what yall say. She looks the same to me and doesn't look like she's had drastic plastic surgery. Now onto the show, I'm trying my hardest to catch up and am in the Paris trip from the beginning of August! One episode until Felicia and the show is actually VERY good. I love that the ensemble feel has been maintained and the main story shifts from Hope/Liam/Wyatt to the Brooke/Ridge/Katie stuff for a few days. Also we are consistantly seeing Maya, Ally, Oliver, etc. so it just feels more like 90s B&B. I'm loving the show! Slowly Ivy is becoming interesting to me as well and I like that it seems like they've kept Maggie as her mother. They mention her loving tabloids so it just seems to fit. I wish they would do a reunion and have Maggie and Jessica come back at some point. It doesn't have to be a major long term thing, but a few episodes would be nice. Maybe they could even have Lauren cut a deal with Ivy with Fenmore's since Lauren and Maggie were friends. There is a lot they can do with this character if the so choose.

You are absolutely correct about the double-standard. I'm certainly not judging her because as I said "It's her life and her face." It is rather sad that she feels that kind of pressure because she still is very attractive and, obviously, has a great body. I'm hoping those pictures are just really, really bad and that whatever she did settles nicely. After seeing that stunning HT botch her beautiful face, I don't want to see KKL that way. Fortunately, HT has been looking so much better the past couple of years.

KKL has been ageing rapidly in the last 3 years. It was pretty much stable till middle 2012. From then on, it's like from week to week she looks more tired and worn out. Nothing wrong with that actually, normal process. But I knew she would have to do something about it, because the character asks for it. Deacon telling wrinkled, 60+ looking Brooke she is the hottest woman in the world was pretty pathetic. Brooke is meant and written to be young-ER woman, still getting pregnant, still [!@#$%^&*] the wrong guy.

Yep. If I were her plastic surgeon - THE EYES FIRST. remove the bags, then just a little botox to relax that angry wrinkle between her eyebrows - she's been relaxing it on and off since 2001 or 2002. it has re-appeared couple of times and then dissapeared. then maybe a light face peel and some extensions for volume nothing to her georgeous lips!. then Brooke will be ready for her storyline with Wyatt.

    • Wow, do I agree with you. Chelsea is coming off as ridiculous. All she does is look for a woman to date while not caring about her business at all. That she's bi is great, but they're not writing her like she's bi. She seems to be lesbian. Yeah, I know -- "no labels." I just don't find the writing for her story to be anything other than awkward.   -- I hope we get some diagnosis finality with Bill's trip to the hospital. I don't want to see these trips to the ER every other day. -- Naomi is going to blame herself for Bill's health problems? GMAB. -- Ashley doesn't read as a real nurse in the slightest. -- Another day, another rinse and repeat conversation with Derek and Ashley. YAWN. -- Kat is making mistakes, but she's fun to watch and listen to, regardless. -- I still think the Joey/Vanessa/Doug gambling story sucks. I know Doug is deeply in debt, but I don't like him acting this meek and submissive.  -- I'm not sure what Joey's plan was from the beginning, or why he had to seduce Vanessa at all to get his way. I'm not sure what Vanessa ever saw in Joey -- why doesn't he give her the ick? -- I'm fine with a story where Doug and Vanessa take out Joey.  -- The fades to commercials were pretty bad today.
    •   Victoria's house (that she long ago lived in with Billy) burned down (I think Aunt Jordan set ablaze?). Mariah and Tessa and baby Aria had been living in the tack house but they bought a house we've never seen and moved there. Victoria, Claire, and Cole now live in the tack house.
    • Victoria’s previous house burned down.    And I know why characters frequent Crimson Lights 3 times a day for brownies, muffins and empty mugs:   THERE’S PCP IN EVERYTHING.
    • Today was a good episode, and the week for that matter. I think they've also done a better job with background music. The scenes in todays episode weren't as silent as they usually are in the background and it was noticeable. I think the show has found its groove well and I'm still invested.
    • Garneau was in the Liberal party and his riding was in Montreal. He was the first Canadian in outer space.
    • I agree. I really have enjoyed this story from the beginning. I feel like it needed the time for us to care about Doug. They've done a nice job of explaining his motives and making me care for him. I still feel like he's doomed and Vanessa will end up being a widow and now I'm invested in that *not* happening now that I've fallen for him. Friday was good but so was the entire week. I think they're doing such a nice job of keeping things moving. We got good movement with Bill's story this week, Chelsea is attempting to date, Andre and Dani are having tough conversations about their relationship, of course Anita reunited with Sharon. There is *so* much going on and I didn't even cover all of it.  I wish all of the soaps would take a page out of BTG book and start rotating their stories. I love that everybody is getting a chance to shine and they don't just sit on one lead story to the point you get sick of it.
    • Did Jordan Clarke have a departure sometime between 1985 and 1989? I know Robert Newman had three runs: 1981-1984, 1986-1991, 1993-end.
    • Well, they usually weren't on the show at the time for long until the late 90's. But yeah, they really deserved a story centered on them, and not through the lens of Reva.
    • Chelsea was doing the absolute most today! Why was she introducing her sister to a woman she doesnt know? That whole scene was embarrassing. Madison needs to stay away from her bc she is too immature
    • Gosh, what a waste with Lunacy. Why have her live with $B, reveal Finn, pardon her, etc What makes this story incredibly hollow is that what Luna is asking isn't unreasonable - to spend time with her cousin father. She's not asking to move in with them. How hard with it be for Finn to throw her a bone by, say, I'll meet you for lunch/coffee once at week at the hospital cafeteria. Lunacy isn't going to hurt Finn. In fact, all her crimes were related to finding her father and it turns out to be someone she's loved her entire life. Instead of course-correcting the nonsense of last summer, Brad somehow found a way to make this worse! That's a skill... Of all the younger actors B&B has cast during the past 5 years, LY has shown the most growth and range. Why get rid of her?
