Huh, I didn't know that. She seemed like the old school type who'd enjoy her steaks bloody with a dry martini every now and then. At any rate, she lived beautifully which seems to be a dying way of life for our moneyed celebs. She and her pal Susan Lucci had this in common. I Googled Joan a few hours ago and learned that she had a country home up in Connecticut. I never knew that. Do you know if she still had that property when she passed? A totally different woman, a comedian to boot, but she savored luxury living like our other favorite Joan, OBE Collins.

This comes as no surprise. If I had walked into that Doctor's office and seen all those autographed pics of celebs hanging on that wall, I would have walked right out! It's obvious she was more concerned and thirsty for celebrity attention than being a doctor.

Oh, so she was a pescatarian. She may have been for a while years ago, but apparently she dropped out at some point, Graham Norton asked her if she was a vegetarian, and she said no... and this is the clip I remembered watching, where she is eating chicken and noodles.

I like Kathy... but from a fashion staandpoint, she doesn't have the fire in her belly, she brings nothing to the table..... except maybe jokes.

I'll definitely give it a shot because I love Kathy. I hope she (and the show) can find a way to make it work, even if it is different (or not as good as) Joan.

We all expected this, Melissa has handled everything right, IMO... she's waited the appropriate amount of time, and I think she's doing the right thing. This article gives a little more in depth medical information, apparently Korovin wanting to go down for a SECOND laryngoscopy is what caused the spasm... and when that DID happen, they apparently didn't do an emergency tracheotomy like they should have. The whole selfie thing greatly disturbs the hell out of me, too.

Someone has uploaded the 1994 TV-movie on Edgar's suicide, with Joan and Melissa playing themselves. Dorothy Lyman is also in this, I guess because someone needed to do heavy lifting in some of the tough scenes.
