It really captured the post civil rights era south, it didn't go over the top with the racism element, but it was very clearly expressed and I liked how Gillespe was shown to still be battling his own racial demons, to some extent.

As far a reboot goes, I would hope that they could capture that same sort of vibe, but from a modern perspective.

This! I loved this show because I felt like I was watching my home town on TV. There is a hamlet in the county called "the Bottoms", I kid you not.

Wow...I watched ILC, and had no clue she was on it. Weird.

She was in the last season, by which time the show was a dead duck. I mostly remember her opening credits shot.

I'll give her this, she looks exactly the same as she did in the '90s. Better, really.
