Hey Ronn - there are some of us out there who are job hunting and keep going through rejection after rejection. YOU chose to leave a cushy gig. Brad Bell and the rest of the B&B staff were well within their rights to recast the role that would not have been vacated had you swallowed your pride and taken a paycut. Even with a paycut, you would still be making more than enough money to keep a comfortable lifestyle - and you would still be earning a lot more than us peons.

So Ronn, do the world a favor and SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ronn Moss leaving was like a breath of fresh air. Not only did it made the show more watchable, it opened the door for KKL's character to do more exciting storylines. Brooke was being stuck with Ridge. NOTHING was happening, it was a tired relationship. As soon as he left - BAM. Brooke shags with her sister's husband, gets pregnant, cries for 5 months. DRAMA. LOL.

It's not like he owns the character. Bell Productions does. When Mr. Moss said that Brad Bell and his staff weren't going to recast (at least not right away), they didn't put it in writing (legally). They are well within their rights to recast if they want to.

How long a gap was there between when Moss left and Thorsten Kaye stepped in? Did they ask Moss to return before they hired Kaye?

RM went to teh Drake H shool of acting. How he kept that primo front-burner role for 25 years is a mystery. The fact that someone like TK can come in and "reinagine" the Ridge character in just a few weeks, speaks volume. If RM was even an average actor, I could see the potential "outrage," but he's not and he hose to walk. After he left, the ratings continued to go up.
