That was YEARS ago. We are talking about now. He went to prison and supposedly had repented and turned his life over. She knows NOTHING about his shady actions of the past year again bc those he was up against lied and covered it up to protect their own asses. Had this knowledge been public, I think then people could judge Julie on her reaction more critically. As it stands, she is clueless and only sees a good man who turned his life around murdered for no apparent reason. She is justified and if I were in her position, Id hate Gabi as well.

If someone sins bad, then their family should write them off and not give the benefit of the doubt bc they did wrong in their past? Gabi was at odds with Sami as well over the last few months. Nick was given multiple chances. He spent 3.5 years in prison for murder and kidnapping. Julie basically begged Melanie to help him get paroled and acted like what Nick did to her was no big deal.. So 3.5 years was too much prison for Nick but 20 is too little for Gabi? Hypocrite much Julie

The blackmail Nick had over Gabi about Melanie and what he was threatning to take Ari friom Will was all in her statement that got Gabi the plead deal.. Julie READ that plea today so she knows all the police and DA know .

It seems like Maggie, Hope & Julie and have guilt for not being there for Nick and seeing how bad he was. However whereas Maggie & Hope admit that Nick was still disturbed, Julie still sees no fault in Nick. Needs wakeup call.

Wednesday:

OMG. An hour of Daniel and Jennifer arguing, making it all about them. How long have we been tortured with them by now? And it keeps on going. They really have to be one of the top 5 absolutely worst couples to ever hit daytime AND primetime. They have zero going on for them. But I did enjoy Daniel walking out on Jennifer, her following him, begging him not to go. She should have gone full Nikki Newman, though, to maximize my enjoyment of her pain and suffering and grovelling. Then she could take that horrible flesh-colored jacket on top of flesh-colored shirt and shoved them ALL up her ass!

T is adorable. I really loved him going to Gabi to support her. I echo everyone's statements that we need to see more of him, although sometimes it's exactly the little use of characters that keeps them well-written and not overexposed/destroyed.

Sami and Marlena descended on Eric and Nicole like vultures It's always great watching Nicole trying to worm her way out of her most recent epic fuckup. Using God then the fact that she forgave Eric was great.

Paige and JJ are really sweet.

If Julie had all the facts, I think she would be more understanding about the plea deal. Since Doug used to be "bad" and Julie has a less than clean past, I think she sees the possibility for rehabilitation. Of course, Hope was "rehabed" and is now in the police force again, which I think is beyond idiotic though I digress.

I agree that Nick had enough chances. The better story would have been Nick's rehabilitation, but I guess that was either subject to Blake Berris' availability or the writers giving a damn. Having Julie and Hope cry up and down about Nick's potential now, after the writing had made sure that there was no question he was a big loser, just makes them look kinda dumb. Then again, that might also be intentional, as the writers love to get digs in at the Hortons whenever possible.

That's what families often do.

I actually thought they did a very good job with Hope's reactions. She doesn't think he should have been murdered, but she knew how far gone he was.

Hell Nick's parents and Grandma realized from far away that Nick was no innocent and didnt want a trial and accepted Gabi's Plea. Julie needs to take a lesson from their book
